Originally I tried using my streaming apps through my phone via direct connection and then through screen share, nothing worked. After reading the product description more carefully and doing some research, I found out you cannot do this with ANY projector, unless it’s a smart projector. So purchased a streaming device to connect to the projector. Went with the Roku Express. Used the Bluetooth function to connect to a speaker and it was an excellent backyard movie experience. Highly recommend.

I was honestly surprised with how easy it was to set it up and there are so many options for connections. I used airplay and it’s such a breeze . It’s very simple setup that was able to teach my mom right the way.. the resolution is good too and the speakers were loud and clear enough that I didn’t need to use external speakers
