These are good clicky ballpoint pens. They write well and are very comfortable to hold. Not a gel pen, but ink looks nice on the page and doesn't smudge. It says 'smooth' on the barrel, and I'd say that's an accurate description. Fairly lightweight to hold, but not cheap-feeling. On the minus side, there doesn't seem to be a great deal of ink in each pen. You can unscrew and dismantle the pen to put in another refill, but I think the idea is that they are one-use and disposable. Looks: the pen is a winner in this regard. The overall motif is black with a clear barrel, a metal pocket clip, and a useful black grip. Would make a very nice and inexpensive EDC option, and at 50p per pen, you don't have to worry if someone runs off with it. The clicking action is satisfying, and the mechanism seems durable. You can click this all day should you wish, with no issues. Delivery was fast, the package easily fit through the letterbox. The pens come in a Zebra-branded paper bag, which is easy to open by hand, and each pen is clipped on to a length of cardboard within, so they are not rattling about in transit, a nice touch. Be sure to remove the tiny resin ball on the tip before starting to write - this is easily done, and does not damage the pen. So overall, I am happy with my purchase. This is the first time I have bought this brand, and for the money I am impressed.

These are my go to study pens. They’re very juicy and roll on the page seamlessly. They’re so juicy they smudge a little if you swipe at it. But it does dry quickly. Smudges a tiny bit with highlighters but only if you rub it a lot. They feel good in my hand and look sleek on my desk. Overall good quality durable pen perfect for students.

I cant say these are good pens because they are not. Scratchy to use ,they sometime do not work and do not last long. i will pay a bit more next time and get something more reliable.

WeI love using the Pilot G-2 gel, pens, but they often smear even on regular envelopes or paper. I use these zebra pen z black when addressing envelopes or writing on a note card so that it doesn’t smear. It feels similar, and my handwriting looks similar so it’s a good substitute for my gel pen. Recommended for a non-mirroring ink pen that is similar to a gel pin.
