Truelove Adjustable No-Pull Dog Harness Reflective Vest, Purple, M

Great quality harness and excellent value for money. Very well made and the stitching is done to a very high standard. It features 3M Scotchlite reflective stitching to help with night time visibility. On unpacking, the size chart on the product was different to what was pictured in the description (see photo). I ordered large as my girl was aproaching the top end of medium. Being sized bigger than advertised was a little worry at first, but it fits perfectly and there is still adjustment for a dog a little smaller than mine anyway (40cm neck, 60cm chest) despite the tag giving a chest size of 69-81cm. The metal adjustment buckles seem far better made than any plastic ones and less prone to slipping and loosening the harness when your dog pulls. The top clip is a solid one piece metal one that seems to be very strong. Was a little unsure at first as it’s an over the head harness and my husky can be dramatic, but she didn’t resist too much and seemed very happy once it was on. Compared to the harness it replaced this one has a much slimmer underbelly part which allows a lot of room for leg/ shoulder movement (see the short video). Ideal for my husky as all the others I’ve looked at have been too bulky and run on the armpit area/ restrict movement. Ideal for breeds of similar build. Also features a front clip if you need to try and get pulling under control or just use on a long training line or seatbelt for the car. The grab handle is well placed and feels sturdy too. Well positioned unlike some that have a strap that extends from the back; the old harness had this and I don’t think my girl liked it tickling her back either. From the first walk, my dog seemed so much happier and more comfortable on her walk. It looked amazing on her too and stayed in place much better than her old one. Highly recommend this harness!

Update: 1 year later - this harness is still going strong, used daily on long country walks, little to no wear or tear as yet, has been an excellent investment! Original review: This is a really well made sturdy harness. If I picked this off the shelf and seen the quality and the price, I would snap this up! It’s really good! I have looked at a lot of harnesses, both online and on the shelf and took the gamble on this one as it was a really good price and also because I got fed up looking while my poor dog was out growing his current one too quickly while I read reviews! So I took the plunge and to be honest I wasn’t expecting much but wow was I pleasantly surprised when it arrived! First impression – has some weight to it (the rings and ladder buckles are actually metal, not plastic, really pleased with this as I worry about a harness breaking) and it is really very well made, you can tug at the rings and see there is no give, stitching is strong and neat. The inside is slightly padded and you can see it is made for the comfort of your dog (I have taken some pictures of the underside to show this, no raw edges etc that could rub on the dogs skin or cause discomfort) The reflective parts (piping and stitching) are ultra-reflective, this is really important feature for us as we walk our dog on country roads sometimes in the dark. I do think to maintain the reflective quality it will have to be washed down occasionally in case mud etc mask the reflective stitching & piping. Dogs first impression! – our dog was used to a strap harness and before that a light mesh harness so this was relatively heavy by comparison. I will say he wasn’t impressed at first; he refused to move, I guess this was heavy with much more cover than he was used to. But once we got him out with it he was fine and got used it quickly. Adjusting – I know some of the reviews say this can be difficult, it can be adjusted when on if your dog will stay still, if not then it might be a little bit more difficult but like the other reviewers say, when you have it to the right size that’s it done. We were able to do the adjustments while he wore it. Size – bought medium for large King Charles, on largest setting fits nicely, if he grows, we will have to upsize but for now fits comfortably. This harness fits over the neck and fastens at each side on the chest. Clip fastens at the side are plastic but seem sturdy. All other rings and buckles are metal. There is a nice little hand hold feature on the top of the harness, not sure how useful this is for a small or medium dog but maybe good if you were sitting down. On the medium size it is good for 3 fingers, not a hand but presumably on larger sizes this becomes bigger as the harness size gets bigger. To summarise, we are very pleased with this purchase, it’s a well-made and sturdy piece, colour is great, reflective features work well and this is well worth the money. Buying the matching lead now! I will update on the durability shortly, we take our dog on long daily walks and he is eager to get going until the last so this harness will be put through its paces very very quickly!

Only had this 12 days and was very sceptical as to wether it would reduce pulling. My almost 40kg dog had every walk in a halti which he & I absolutely hated but he's a very strong puller. 3 days prior to buying this I had a retractable lead on him at a holiday park and was immediately caught off gaurd as soon as I stepped out of the lodge he lunged right then immediately left and almost broke my arm. I bought this as soon as I got home and was quite wary the first few times using it but it's absolutely brilliant clipped to the front of the harness. First days he walked slightly funny whilst he was getting used to it but he can't pull, he tries to but it's not really possible and it's an absolute pleasure to walk him now when it was getting dreadful. Dries out really quickly after being in water. I think this will last a long time but I'd definitely buy again. Id just like to also say (and I know all dogs are different shapes) but the sizing seems a bit out, we're at the end of allowance around the body but fastened at it tightest around the neck so no room for growth around the girth sadly and with the measurements shown we should have had room to loosen off by at least 10 cm

I like the style. The fact you can get a good selection of colours too. I like that it has 2 clips, one at the front (for not pulling) and one at the back like a normal harness (which i use to clip her seat belt to in the car). It seems comfortable. Easy enough to put on and off. Important as we use it regularly. I dislike the way it twists around when she trys to pull. Although it doesn't seem to bother her at all. It is not easy to adjust the straps. Her head collar is much better for not pulling than this harness. This harness is NOT escape proof. If you have a determind escape artist like mine. I wanted a harness which was as good as the head collar for not pulling on the lead while we continue training. I think this one is very good and she doesn't pull as much. It is useful. We needed a good harness anyway and it is good quality and as mentioned comfortable. All in all, I am happy that i purchased this product.

The large is a great fit for my GSP! Really like the colour and the handle is very useful for some extra control. Easy to put on and very adjustable

This harness is the best ever, I’ve used them for years and they just last and last! Such good value for money. Fantastic fit, the material is soft and the straps sturdy. The viability in poor light makes me happier walking them on an evening. It’s great for walking but still versatile enough to use for mantrailing. My dogs love them! I won’t use any other harnesses at all.

Fits well, is easy to use and to adjust. Quality is good and been using it for many months now with no problems.

Great harness. Got for my puppy who is large and very strong. He's a gordon setter crossed with a collie and is already huge and a real puller on the lead. We are working on his pulling but this has been very secure so far and the clips on the front and back allow me to use the double ended lead to give me more control with him. So far it has lasted since he was 12 weeks old, he's now 8 months but this has loosened to fit. Really great quality.

Ich kann das Geschirr sehr empfehlen. Die Verarbeitung und auch die Polsterung sind sehr gut. Gurte an den Seiten sind nicht starr sondern federn leicht nach, so dass keine direkte Zugkraft auf den Hund einwirkt. Ich habe ein Geschirr gesucht was im Brustbereich gut gepolstert ist, da mein Hund einen sehr grossen Brustkorb für so einen kleinen Hund hat, besser gesagt mein Hund besteht nur aus Brustkorb und Hintern 😂sein Brustbein ist enorm und heraus stehen. Ich war schon kurz davor ein Geschirr anfertigen zu lassen, weil ich kein Gutes gefunden hatte ! Dieses hier hat eine grosse Fläche, gut gepolstert, so dass kein Druck mehr auf dem Brustbein liegt. Versand hat sieben Tage gedauert aber auf solche Qualität wartet man gerne länger. Es kann absolut mit den teueren Geschirren locker mithalten. Mein Hund ist ein Papillon/ Bordercolliemix und habe eine M bestellt. Passt genau da man es super am Hals und Bauch einstellen kann. Ich habe extra eine Nummer größer bestellt, da der Verkäufer schrieb man sollte 2-3 cm cm zu rechnen. Und das stimmt wirklich. Nummer kleiner wäre zu eng gewesen!

Cercavo una pettorina che non sfregasse vicino alle ascelle dato che la mia cagnolina ha dei lipomi e questa ha la giusta distanza, è molto resistente e ha colori bellissimi. consiglio!
