Osiris NYC 83 Skate Shoe (Little Kid/Big Kid)

Camp is upon us and I was concerned that any problem with the order wouldn't be corrected/exchanged in time. All is great. Amazon (Prime) delivered within 2 days, and the shoe size is accurate.Size: I read that the shoes were 'long' and 'flat', so I was concerned they might run large. My son is outgrowing his size 5.5, so I was concerned that a size 6 might be too large if they really ran large. Not the case. The sneakers fit perfectly.Quality/Style: To each his/her own. The colors are bright and have a quality texture. They don't look 'shiny'. The soles are flat; there are no heel molds or tapered high tech designs. My son plays basketball, hockey and football, and put these sneakers through the paces already; no slipping or complaints. The style is not 'foot hugging' on the outside, so they look less sleek, but my son says the inside of the sneaker is terrifically comfortable and they perform very well. What's not to like?!The sneakers are off to camp soon where they will be torture tested. Repeatedly. If they fail miserably, I'll update this comment/rating. Otherwise, no need to.Note: An extra pair of laces were included in the box, one pair white and the second blue. Nice touch.[UPDATE 1] I should note that with time, my son preferred lighter sneakers while playing on the hockey team. All the running prompted his need. He reported that the sneakers are "heavy".

My 6 yr old wanted shoes like his big (12 yr old) brother who wears Osiris's. I found these and bought them as a Christmas gift and they are so cute! I love the baseball stitching and my little guy loved that they said OSIRIS across the front like his big brother's do. His big brother even commented that he would wear the shoes as he thought they were really cool. They fit well, and though we've only had them a few weeks, we live in Wisconsin where snow, ice and salt are the norm right now. They are holding up well and my little guy can be hard on his shoes. Knowing how my older son has had his Osiris shoes for over a year now I have no doubt these will hold up. Just love how cute they are.

Purchased for my 6 year old grandson as a Christmas gift and he was thrilled when he opened the package. The baseball styling is attractive. Too early to tell about durability but I was satisfied with the workmanship of the shoe.

It's not often I stumble across shoes for my two boys that hold up an entire year! I was completely suprised that my 10-year-old's Osiris' bought a year ago were holding up so long. I decided to search out another pair this year AND a pair for his 8-year-old brother. They LOVED the wild styles and opened the boxes that arrived in the mail like it was Christmas! Along with the ultra coolness, the boys said they also liked that these shoes are warm and mostly waterproof because their feet get wet and cold at morning recess and stay that way all day in their other athletic shoes. My oldest son also requires extra cushioning in his footwear due to a sports injury, and the sole cushion in these shoes is great quality. He says his feet feel comfortable all day, unlike his other (more expensive) athletic shoes.

Sexy is all that I thought when I took them out of the box. I am no stranger to the brand.... style and cut of these sneakers.... so they fit as I expected them to. They are comfy and the tall neck is supportive around my ankles. With my Multiple Sclerosis..... it can be painful and uncomfortable to walk on any... almost every surface. With these sneakers, I do not have that issue. ....Now the colors..... The colors are basic colors. The white really sets the red and black up for the awesomeness that the combination creates. It is eye catching. I love these sneakers!!!Oh yeah.... and they make my glasses look even cooler! .... Aren't they gorgeous!? lolol .....

Beautiful sneakers... I love the color way ....and the cheetah print....the fit is perfect..... I am a self proclaimed sneakerhead.... I've had them all....Jordan... dunks.... vandals(which aren't bad at all)...air Macs.... even air force's..... the majority of these sneakers resulted in blisters...and bruises on my feet.... pains and sprained ankles...No real support.... I have multiple sclerosis... and... I have to be careful about what I wear on my feet...I took a chance and tried these after my diagnosis.....and they are awesome ... they cushion my feet and ankles....my feet don't hurt wearing them.... I purchased a size 6.....it wasn't too big or small..... just right.....they aren't heavy like air force's....there is just right amount of space between my feet and the sneakers....perfect sneaker for me

My son was very pleased and wanted to try it right away. It fits as expected. I was a little hesitant about the size since it says "little kid" on it. But it is just a regular size 2 for boys (my son is 8 yo.)Very well made with stitched sole all around. It gives me piece of mind that it won't start to fall apart as easy as other shoes.On the downside, if you can say that ;) It looks more greenish on the screen than in person, but it's actually gray. It probably says on the description and I didn't notice ;)

I ordered these for my almost 9 year old grandson. He loves them and they fit him really well. They are a little wide but not enough to be an issue. I highly recommend them. Very Cool Shoe!
