This is well made and does the job perfectly. It is much better than smaller versions

I purchased and filled this item for an elderly neighbour. It fits very well over the back of the door and is a good height for her to collect the post without bending. Good quality and very sturdy.

Nice product, fits round letter box and easy to fix. One snag is that the letter box guard strikes the wall when door fully opened. See photo 2. Not too much of a problem but if moving heavy furniture in or out the guard would have to be removed to permit full opening of door. Secondly, rigid A4 magazines and cardboard envelopes cannot be fully passed through the letterbox without assistance from inside to guide them through.

This was a very satisfactory door cage mail collector and well worth the money. The only fiddley job was fitting this large item to the door with the screws provided. Make sure there is enough space round the door so that it can be opened widely. The cage is good quality, attractive, strong and fit for purpose. I recommend it.

on the small side. its ok. if u take the letters every day. but not if you go on holiday for a long time. and you get lots of letters. 17cm w 35cm l 40cm h.is not big enought. and it should hold a lot more weight. the size should be W30cm L50cm H200cm and it should beable to hold 5kg in weight. 17cm w x 35cm w x 40cm h. are ok if you if you take the post out of the cage every day. for the size the cage. at £19.99 its about the right price. m r.

I'm very happy with this product. I installed it on my PVC front door using self tapping screws, and my dog hasn't managed to mangle it by chewing on it. I lined it using a "Bag for Life" from a supermarket, (can't remember which shop, but it's a good thick one, not just regular plastic), which I cut and folded to size, so he can't see or get to the post through the mesh of the letter catcher. These bags are stiff enough that the dog can't get his teeth into it to yank it through. My dog used to shred everything that came through the door, and yank things out of the postman's hands. Now he gives a good yap, but has admitted defeat in ever getting through the post catcher!
