These are bought for an autistic person with sensory sensity to sound. They go to 29db but I'm not sure what the upper limit is.ProsHowever they are very good. If I leave my window open and there's busy traffic it mutes it out. Other conversation is dialled down as it's impossible to completely remove noise (unfortunately) and it has 7 layers whereas others may have a couple.The price for about £13 Is very good.As is the build.quality and it's adjustable strap for an adults head.ConsIt is made for shooting range but used to block out as much white noise as possible and because of that it looks bulky. Not aesthetic enough to maybe wear outside in public transport perhaps.Overall very good so far.

Obviously they don't create silence, but they dampen all sound. I bought them for my son because loud noises bother him. These solve the problem. They are comfortable when worn over a long period. The strap adjusts over a wide range of sizes (fitting for his little head and my big one).

Theses defenders are very good the innner ear is quite deep so it will cover all of any ears. Very comfortable warm and works very well with my autism son.

These are very good value for money. I use them in my drum school during lessons when the PA is full on and it makes things much more pleasant. The only thing is that you must be careful of setting them at the right size for your head before putting them on, not while they are on your head because they break after a while. It happened twice so now I know. I still re-ordered them because it is good value.

I dont understand why people are saying they are comfortable. they put pressure on my ears and my head and give me both earache and a headache. Either the company has been taken over and they are not as good quality as they were or I got a faulty product but I cant stand to wear them for more than 5 minutes

These come with a carry bag to keep dust out, which is neat.They are really small though, I think they're children's defenders. Or for someone with a small head.

They work great, bought for my son who has sensory problems and hates noisy places, they do look big on so he did feel a little self conscience so he uses these at home and bought smaller looking ones for out about.
