Micro Quad Ramset Perimeter Wire

Well made and instructions were easy to understand. Fired off blanks easily

Purchased (2) of the Micro Quad .22 Ramset Perimeter Trip Wire Alarms. Both of them were partially assembled as if they were returns and not new. Both of them were missing the smaller pin and cotter pins. Either have to return these for replacements or purchase the small pins myself. Not sure how both pins for both alarms fall out of zip lock bags. Will need to see if the partial assembly means that they were returned because they didn't work for previous customer?

This small device is constructed with sturdy materials and looks cool. It is designed to fire off a .22 blank if the pin is tripped. It has several parts and I managed to figure out how it works even though no instructions were included. I havent added blanks yet (not included). It seems to work as intended.

Works great. All parts and instructions included. Just got it today and test loaded a yellow ram set without reading instructions. Will be buying more! Great gift idea, I'd like to see a multi pack available!

I love these little devices, I have quite a few of all different types. The ones that fire full shotgun shells, primers, and like this that shoot the nail gun loads. They are great and it is pretty hard to find a problem with them. Some of them are just built bad and do not function properly. This is not one of those, it works great. I did see in the reviews where a couple of people have ordered this device, and did not receive everything that was supposed to be in the bag. Luckily I did receive everything, the inner Ziploc was not even torn, and nothing was left inside of the envelope. These are super easy to operate, just lift the arm up and put in the safety pin, run your trip wire across the path ahead of time, (Tie one end to a tree and the other end to one corner of the rectangle plate.) Then just place the rectangle plate in the opening of the device and remove the safety pin. Anything that bumps the tripwire, will be sure to yank that plate out releasing the firing pin and setting off the .22 Ramset load. And it's loud LOL Every one of the other style of trip wire alarm I have like this is actually pull pin activated. They have worked and never failed me. I never tried this kind of release mechanism before, but I actually like it. If you place it strategically, and rig it right, you can make it so much more of a hair trigger like this. I have never had anyone notice a tripwire before, but this way could actually be too sensitive if done wrong. I actually really like this style of triggering mechanism, and the fact that it takes the .22 caliber Ramset loads, I already have a ton of those for my nail gun, and they are super easy to Source anyway. This is a great product at a great price, really effective device. Highly recommended.
