How many minutes does it take to put together?

Once you familiarize yourself self with it, it sets up in about minute. We set it up the first time at home with the instructions. After the first time, it is very simple.

Would this work ok for the beach? I don’t want to buy the beach version of this chair.

I’ve only used my chair at the beach…so easy, once you figure it out, to set up and dismantle to carry out. Compact and comfortable.

I'm looking for a chair that isn't in a reclined position. How close is this to sitting in a straight posture?

When the chair is sitting level it is in a slightly reclined position. Not to the point of feeling like you are laying back too much, but just enough to keep a person comfortable for extended time sitting. Hope this helps
