Easy to assemble, grey for motor skills and learning

My 5yr old son loves playing with the set. He plays with it every day. While he's playing, he's building his intellectual thinking. The screwdriver works on the screws. The wrench works on the nuts. The hammer works on the plastic nails. The saw moves. When he's done, he can put all the tools back on the crane tool holder. Very cool.The pieces made very well. The wood is smooth or painted. The screws fit into the screw holes. The tools fit their hardware pieces well. My set is missing at least a long red screw though so my son can only build things with 3 wheels or less. The bin underneath should be installed with the medium screws and not the long screws like in the directions unless the set comes with more than x4 of the long screws. It should also have more than the x2 of the medium screws that one of the picture shows. My set came with x6 of the medium screws which is about right to put x2 in the underneath bin and x4 to build the bulldozer. Also, the front of the box says Prentend Play Tools Workbench. I think it's supposed to be Pretend Play Tools Workbench. That's only on the box though, none of the play items have any wording on them.This is a great play set for the kids.

We had wanted to switch our existing plastic tool bench with a wooden one, so we were happy to give this product a try for our soon-to-be 3-year-old son. The main positives that we see:1. The quality of the wood is great. The finish was all very smooth, with no real rough edges, very safe for toddlers to play with.2. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of parts that are included with this. There are plenty of screws and boards, along with the associated tools such as screwdrivers and wrenches.3. There was an included instruction booklet that provides examples of various "finished" items that can be created from the set. While this is too difficult for our son at the moment, both my wife and I were very pleased with what we saw as it would allow our son to play with this set for a long time into the future.Initial assembly of the work bench was also a breeze, and it was actually a bonus that it basically used the same kind of parts, as it allowed our son to partake in the assembly to the extent that he could.Overall, we are very happy with this product and would highly recommend!

Out of all the work bench/tool toy sets I've given my kids, this one is by far my favorite.I was so tired of great work bench/tool toys that have very little actual projects you could create. This one comes with many projects your kids can do using the tools that it comes with.Pro:-Not too big so it doesn't take up much space compared to the other ones I have-Assembly is incredibly easy (I used a regular screwdriver for 6 screws which all went in very easily; the rest uses the toy screws which work really well and you just screw those in by hand; took me 15 minutes max)-The workbench is great and sturdy with lots of neat details-The saw moves as you turn the lever-The crane holding all the tools is a nice feature-There are so many projects your kids can make with these pieces (see the crane in the photo on the workbench; it comes with photos to give your kids ideas of what to make)-Overall just love this and going to get rid of my other ones to make space for this oneCons/Tips:-The instructions have you use the big red toy screw to put in the bottom tray, but use the medium sized orange screw instead (reason: there are only 4 red longer toy screws and you need them for a few projects like the digger in my photo)Highly recommend this. One of my favorites from Amazon for 2023.

Great product and excellent quality. The bench is very sturdy and was simple to assemble. Perfect for my 2 year old daughter. She was so happy and can do like dad.

This is the most poorly designed piece of trash I have bought off Amazon in a long time. The bench goes together fine, but when you attempt to build the various items, it’s clear that this was put together either by a blind person, or some machine that hasn’t been calibrated since 1987. The instructions are vague at best, with ONE picture from one angle of each item, and no further instructions, leaving you fairly clueless as to how it’s supposed to be assembled. Even if you attempt it, often the “screws” aren’t able to be screwed in fully due to it being blocked by another “screw” through the same block. Assembled, disassembled, and returned immediately. Do not waste your time or money.

This is very very tiny and the quality is so so. I would say spend more and get a taller one.
