Our kitchen has hardwood floors. So, we are always concerned about water leaking onto the floors and damaging the wood. We decided to try these detectors. They work fantastic. I tested each one before I put them to use. One under the refrigerator, one under the dishwasher, one under the kitchen sink and one behind the wash machine in the laundry room. It was super easy to link these to my WiFi and then to install them on the App. They are programmed to notify me of leak through the App. They also send me a text message and send both my wife and me an email. This is in addition to the loud beeping sound they make. The sensors are small and fit under the refrigerator. When testing, they were very sensitive to water. The gateway stays plugged in and the batteries (2 AAA) in each detector (supplied) lasts for 5 years. The gateway is compatible with all Govee devices. So, I was able to link the thermometer and relative humidity detector in our crawl space to the gateway. Previously, I needed Bluetooth and being nearby to pick up the temperature in the crawl space....now it is over WiFi and I get the signal anywhere. A fantastic product.

Incredible item. Setup could be a tad bit easier and I feel that the manual is written by a chimpanzee and could be streamlined in a better way so as to make the set up much more intuitive and seamless. That being said once you know what they're talking about in the manual, the set up goes very quickly and easily. The product itself is top notch it already saved us with a leak in our upstairs HVAC furnace. Our home has two HVACs and we had a new humidifier installed on one of the HVACs and we wanted to ensure the new install wasn't dripping. So I set one of the 4 Govee detector node under the humidifier and as soon as a few drips of leak happened the unit immediately alerted me on my phone in real time. I LOVE how responsive and reliable it is and it did the job excellently that I purchased it for. Not to mention that this node was easily at least 75 feet away from the wifi bridge. Even then it caught the leak and relayed it to my phone within seconds. Very impressed and Highly recommend it.

So pleaseed that I bought these GoVee Smart water leak detectors. I placed one under my dishwasher, one behind my washing machine and one at the base of my hot water tank. They were easy to set up and they definitely work. I accidentally splashed some water that reached one of the sensors and the unit sounded its alarm.

So far so good. It hasn’t went off yet, which is a good thing. I did test it out and it doesn’t register for a little amount of water and only does when it’s wet. I would have thought it would read it all but it will work as intended when needed. Very easy to set up and an affordable option.

I have several Govee products. I love the simplicity of this water leak detector. Set up is a breeze and went EXACTLY as described. (5 stars just for that fact 😀). Once plugged into the electrical outlet, the connection to WIFI of the hub unit is straightforward. In the Govee app. you are able to name each sensor to the appropriate location. You can adjust the alarm volume and set up alerts to your email address (in addition to the alert in the app.) I tested each sensor, they are super sensitive and react in seconds. I placed sensors in the HVAC cupboard (pity I didn’t buy this last year, the a/c condensate alarm failed and we had $4000 worth of damage ☹️), under the sinks, washing machine and refrigerator. If you’re like most folks the last time you pulled the washing machine out - was the day it was installed. For me that was 10 years ago. Today, while cleaning and placing the leak detector behind the washing m/c I noticed a very small leak where the stainless steel hose connects (to the screw connector 😳). I guess I got lucky this time !

works well based on testing but haven't had "real life" testing yet. (luckily) the app and interface is very good. the interconnection between the leak detection and the temp-humidity sensors is excellent. all in one app and all work with alexa and has remote monitoring and notifications. just what i expected and wanted, which is refreshing as many products nowadays are not like that.

I opened the box and downloaded the app on my phone. I read the Terms and Conditions of the app I was downloading. I simply could not accept the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy that was required to use the app. The Terms and Conditions requires you to accept the fact the Chinese company has the right to record your login and password to your internet. Also requires that it has access to all your contacts. This was too rigid a requirement for a lead detection system. If you have a dispute, you are required to arbitration in China speaking only Chinese. The Privacy Policy was also impossible for me to accept. You give the Chinese company total access to your phone or computer. They collect ALL device identification information and there is not a way to opt out of promotional services to be sent to you. I did not complete the installation of the app on my phone! I never tried to power up the leak detectors. I do not know how they function. I do know that the dozens of pages Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy is very risky for the consumer.

Easy to set-up (despite usual Chinese English instructions) and connection is strong throughout the house. Tested one unit with some countertop water and the siren went off and I received an immediate notification on my phone.

Pedi estos sensores ya que tengo un hermano con discapacidad que suele dejar las llaves abiertas del lavamanos hasta que se desbordara el agua en los baños, afortunadamente esta solucion me ayudaria a resolver este problema, probe cada sensor para colocarlos en cada lavamanos de mi casa pero mi sorpresa fue que uno llego defectuoso en todo lo demas funciono bien y pueden ser desactivada la alarma desde la aplicacion.

Seem to work really well

Since purchased fortunately I have not had any water leak for this to really work and it's a good thing. However I did test it before placing the sensors at places I want to be protected by dropping a few drops of water on the sensors and they all did sound the alarms loud and clear. Installing/setting up was a piece of cake. Of course I would and also advise those who buy these products to test the sensors from time to time to make sure it's still working just to have peace of mind. Thinking to buy a few more sensors in order to have even more places covered!
