J-Hope BTS - Jack in The Box [Hope Edition] Album

j-hope's album, Jack in the Box, was released in digital form in July 2022 to wide critical acclaim. It's a concept album, cleverly combining the metaphors of Pandora's box and the jack-in-the-box toy to tell j-hope's own story, as he emerges from the hugely successful Korean group BTS to establish his own artistic identity as a soloist. Infectious 90s style hip-hop beats, clever, intricate lyrics and j-hope's uniquely versatile rapping/singing style combine to make it a great listen. This version gives the original 10 tracks the sound quality and permanence they deserve, adds in five extra tracks (three from j-hope's awesome solo debut at Chicago's Lollapalooza festival and two instrumentals) and includes a host of cute collectibles. The stickers, photos and cut-and-make paper figurine are a perfect reflection of j-hope's concept and his witty, playful style.

I received my copy of Jack In The Box, Hope Edition on release day ☺️ Being a Hobi bias, I just had to pre- order this magnificent musical masterpiece. The CD is so nicely put together, J-Hope put his heart & soul into it 🥹 Every track is full of emotion. The paper toy is so cute as are all the other extras that come with the CD 🥰 I'm so pleased with it & this is a must have for any BTS fan 💜 Go & buy a copy, you'll not be disappointed ☺️🖤🤍🩵🩷💜

Arrived quickly and well packaged. Loved the set

A wonderful showing of J Hopes' voice. Quality photo book and extras.

Great listening

Excellent music as always from member of bts. JHope one talented individual. Well done. Recommend for all fans of BTS or even if not!

The album came 4 day’s earlier than expected, which was amazing! All contents inside in pristine quality, with everything as promised inside. The only minor issue is that packaging wasn’t protective enough to help keep the outer-case protected from damaged through transit which is disappointing! But, overall it was great. I’m just very particular, so to see the outer-case squashed was a downer to me! Thank-you though✨

Absolutely love the Jack in the Box Concept - Hobi has created a stunning album for us! This album has everything you want - some up tempo and soulful elements. The photo book alone is worth the price - it is a work of art. Thank you so much J-hope!!!

Some might say JITB is a departure from j-hope's sunny disposition but imo his other solo projects have a deeper, darker side as well. But JITB definitely hits harder with it's 90's hip hop beats & a tight cohesive story. There are no skips. Listen to JITB from top to bottom. It's so worth it. The cd art is part of the masterpiece. There is even a diy paper doll included. I haven't put one together myself but have enjoyed seeing all the dolls j-hope's fans have created. I can't wait to see what new projects j-hope will come up with after his military service is completed Oct 2024.

Reibungsloser Ablauf, gerne wieder!
