I ordered this chair for my husband, as he was having a very difficult time getting up and out of chairs and sofas. This chair is perfect. First, it is the first recliner he has ever had that his heels don't hang off the end of the footrest. Second, the chair is very firm, so he doesn't sink into it. That means he can get up out of this chair without using the lift feature. Third, this chair reclines even beyond a flat lying position, hence he never reclines it fully. He will be having shoulder surgery soon, and this chair will be so much easier for him to use while he is recovering. Like I said, perfect! Our son put it together for us. It was easy and did not require any tools. However, he did need to get down on the floor to attach the wiring for the remotes in the bottom back of the chair. For an elderly person who bought the chair because they have problems getting up, my husband would not have been able to do that. Just wanted to make sure you knew that so you could have someone there to help you when the packages came.

3 boxes delivered over 2 days - should come as a single shipment. Straight forward assembly. Comfortable. Have not yet tried massage or heat.

I like the quality construction of these chairs. We purchased two of the chairs, my wife needed a lift chair due to her illness. The dual motors work very well, positioning is very comfortable, standing with ease. The heat and massage works well. We purchased the large size, I am 6 ft she is 5’8. The chairs are very nice looking, matching our decor very nicely. I would definitely recommend them.

I happened to need a new chair AND had knee surgery. I was having trouble getting out of the old chair and the sofa, and a dining room chair, which was somewhat easier to get out of, was uncomfortable for the raised-leg resting I need for recuperation, I suffered for a few days and finally researched and chose this chair. I chose the Infinite Position (it also has heat and massage), as I could then place my leg where I needed it, not in a pre-designated position. My son brought the 3 boxes into the family room for me (1 is really heavy and in most cases might need 2 people to move it) and while I did not time him, it must have been right around 20-25 minutes to assemble - NO TOOLS NEEDED. This is such a game changer for my recuperation! It also looks good and unless you are using the lift part of the mechanism, it looks like a regular recliner and fits in beautifully in my family room. An added bonus is that when my Mother-in-law visits, she will now have a chair perfect for her visit! My kids wait patiently for me to go to bed and as soon as the lift mechanism safely and gently gets me on my feet, one of them (or my hubby) is headed for the chair! My son was discussing it with a friend who has a family member getting ready for surgery so they wanted all of the details - I had taken a pic of my order from my phone and passed it along, I would recommend this chair to ANYONE, surgery issues or not! Maybe you have a family member who visits who can benefit from the power lift, but even without needing the lift, this is a GREAT recliner! I got it in the large size which to me looks to be the size of a normal recliner.

Assembly was very easy. Plugged the chair to power and nothing worked. Checked all connections and they seemed fine, except for the power socket to the chair. The cord plug fell out without much force. There were small nubbins on both sides of the plug and I decided they were preventing a good power connection. I filed the nubbins off and then the connection was deep enough to get power to the chair. I say quality control failed somewhere with this product. Do not buy unless you are experienced with electrical connections and can analyze a failure.

Such comfort and convenience for 88 year old Mother. She loves the heat and massage. This chair allows her to lay almost totally flat if she wants to nap in this chair. A relief for family for her safety and care

Easy assembly. Quality very nice. The only downside the foot rest could use a little more padding you can feel the frame when your feet are up on the chairs

Nice looking with all the bells and whistles. Getting ready for knee surgery so will probably live in it.
