Yes, you can. They take Qty 4 LR44/AG13 Button Batteries should you need to replace them at some point.

Are these rechargeable?

Do these have to be programed ? ?

No, just switch button to on and it’s ready to go

Our monkey seems to have a defect or glitch, it won’t allow me to write a review? Trying to get a replacement

Mine did to I bought another one from Walmart and it actually works better. Sorry can’t be of much help but at least these toys are not $50 because I think that be money lost.
