I frequently purchase this shampoo because I struggle to find one that alleviates my itchiness. I have a sensitive scalp, and other shampoos often cause allergies or irritation. So far, this has been the best product for me. While the fragrance isn't the best, it’s not an issue at all, as it has more of a medicinal scent rather than anything floral or like any other standard one.

Been repurchasing this for years as keeps my dandruff/seb derm under control. Works best if you massage it into scalp & leave for couple of minutes. Can be strong on sensitive skin so alternate with hydrating shampoo

Erster Eindruck Das Produkt kommt in einem flexiblen 500-ml-Nachfüllbeutel (Refill), was im Vergleich zur Hartplastikflasche deutlich Plastikmüll einspart. Die Konsistenz ist eher dickflüssig und hat eine auffällige, orange-gelbe Farbe. Was sofort auffällt, ist der Geruch: Durch das enthaltene Selendisulfid riecht es leicht schwefelig bzw. medizinisch, was nach dem Ausspülen jedoch größtenteils verfliegt. 3. Praxistest Ich habe das Shampoo über mehrere Wochen getestet und dabei auf folgende Punkte geachtet: Reinigungsleistung & Kopfhautgefühl: Die Kombination aus Selendisulfid und Salicylsäure wirkt spürbar. Schon nach der zweiten Anwendung war der Juckreiz fast vollständig verschwunden. Die Salicylsäure sorgt für ein sanftes Peeling, das fest sitzende Schuppen löst, während das Selendisulfid die Neubildung hemmt. Anwendung (Einwirkzeit): Wichtig ist hier die Geduld. Man sollte das Shampoo beim ersten Mal ca. 2 Minuten einwirken lassen. Die Schaumbildung ist trotz der pflegenden Eigenschaften gut, man benötigt für normales Haar keine riesigen Mengen. Pflegewirkung bei trockenem Haar: Da dieses Shampoo speziell für "normales bis trockenes Haar" deklariert ist, hatte ich Sorge vor dem typischen "Stroh-Effekt" bei medizinischen Shampoos. Es pflegt tatsächlich besser als die Variante für fettiges Haar, dennoch empfehle ich bei sehr langen Haaren zusätzlich einen Conditioner für die Spitzen. 4. Pro & Contra Vorteile: Hohe Wirksamkeit: Hilft zuverlässig gegen Schuppen und Juckreiz, wo Drogerieprodukte oft scheitern. Langzeiteffekt: Die versprochene Anti-Rückfall-Wirkung scheint zu funktionieren; die Kopfhaut beruhigt sich nachhaltig. Nachhaltigkeit: Der 500-ml-Beutel ist ergiebig und produziert weniger Müll. Verträglichkeit: Frei von Parabenen und gut verträglich bei empfindlicher Kopfhaut. Nachteile: Eigengeruch: Der leicht chemisch-schwefelige Geruch ist nicht jedermanns Sache. Preis: Im Vergleich zu Standard-Shampoos deutlich teurer (Apotheken-Niveau). Handhabung: Der Beutel ist ohne Umfüllen in eine Flasche unter der Dusche etwas unhandlich. 5. Fazit Dieses Shampoo ist ein echtes "Problemlöser-Produkt". Es eignet sich ideal für Personen, die unter chronischen Schuppen oder seborrhoischem Ekzem leiden und mit herkömmlichen Anti-Schuppen-Shampoos keine Ergebnisse erzielen. Wer empfindlich auf Gerüche reagiert, muss hier zwar Abstriche machen, erhält dafür aber eine klinisch wirksame Pflege, die das Problem an der Wurzel packt.
