A good monitor that comes with loads of extras.
A good monitor that comes with loads of extras.Arrived today, very well packed, opened the box, 1 screen, 1 base stand with adhesive pad, 1 Mains adapter (with a rather short lead), 1 remote control (that unfortunately also operates my LCD picture frame lol) and a shed load of leads. (HDMI, VGA, BNC and Composite, also has a USB socket).I should think there isn't a single thing you can't connect to this screen. As I have said, the mains lead does have a rather short lead so might be a good idea to buy a generic 12v adapter with a longer lead (it is very short), the stand secures on the back via a quarter inch screw and a strange flat square nut that slides into the slot on the back of the screen, it works and in fact the nut can be used with any quarter inch screw on any stand (mine is fitted to a magic arm). The casing is plastic (unlike the faulty 11" screen I sent back to Amazon before buying this, that one was metal but then it was nearly £30 more), having said that it is sturdy enough, would like to find a hood that will fit this screen as it is permanently stationed at my desk but not sure if one is made. The only minus was that on my one the mains adapter socket on the screen has a slightly dodgy connection but with the screen in a static position and the lead cable tied in place this isn't a problem, just didn't want to send another screen back to Amazon so am living with it.All in all I am very pleased, picture quality is good with fairly neutral colours and good definition, for this price this is excellent value and a nice size screen, highly recommend.

Good for my CCTV system
It's an ok picture quality for CCTV. I wouldn't see it being useful for anything else really. Maybe for logging into a server or something that doesn't need viewing often. It comes with all the ports and cables you'd ever need which was a pleasant surprise. The mount is quite good too though the mounting system is a bit flimsy (I wouldn't trust it to last very long with heavy use). The power cable is quite short too but easily replaced if this is a problem. So far so good.

Poor quality power adaptor.
*** Update ***Since submitting this review, the seller has refunded my payment in full and let me keep the item. I have been asked to “review,” my review. I consider the seller has been fair by offering a full refund and for that, I give them all credit. ***First off, the power supply it feather light and poor quality. It's about a third of the weight of a decent power supply. If you plan on replacing this for something decent, budget another £10 at least. This is all that sits between the mains voltage and you! Consider a 12 Volt power supply from at least a high street retailer where there is at least some quality checks. The monitor stand has a tin base that is light and rather unstable by the time you attach cables. There are photos in other reviews where the adaptor has been unplugged, leaving an exposed pin remaining, sticking out of the socket! In use, the monitor has a decent picture quality but the brightness control does very little to dim the display, even at minimum setting. The remote control has to be held a couple of inches away from the monitor in order to function. This is still slightly better than trying to adjust settings from the rather random front buttons. There does not seem to be an 'Enter' key, once you have selected the setting you want. It times out, then you have to start again.By the time you spend £60 on the monitor, then another £10 on a decent power supply, it works out rather expensive for a flimsy screen. This should be priced about £30 or less to make this a viable purchase. Unfortunately, this will be going back. You can buy a full size monitor in most high street stores for this amount of money. There is then some quality control over what you are getting.

Seems to work ok.
Bought this to monitor a security camera so only using on composite video input. Seems to display an acceptable picture but can't comment on reliability yet.Has plenty of menu settings but the backlight brightness control does not do much. The remote control is awful, no battery but worse is that it has no range, you have to get within a few feet for it to work. New battery was used. The stand was different to that shown in the pictures and was quite difficult to slot into the back.Overall build quality seems acceptable for the price point.

Great little monitor for cctv system
I was surprised this was as good as it is for the price, connected mine to my home cctv system as I had a 24 inch monitor which takes up a lot of room, this is perfect it’s mounting stand is great easy setup picture quality great. For the price and quality would highly recommend.

Washed Out Display But Works Fine
After two attempts at ordering this item (the first went walkies) I finally received it. It's a mini monitor with various inputs such as RGB, HDMI, VGA and an aerial so you can use a TV box on it. I use it for a second display on a laptop. It has all the cables you need. It also comes with a remote control, although there is no battery included. The colours are not great, it looks washed out. But it's still perfectly useable if you don't want to do any graphical or colour sensitive work on it. It also works fine with the Nintendo Switch, if you want a slightly larger display for it. The power supply included is cheap and nasty. I really recommend not leaving it plugged in unattended, purchase a good quality replacement for it.
