Give it 2 days to charge before throwing in the towel. It does work!
My grandson had a jeep, not sure the make or model, that had lost its charger. We got this for him. We really didn’t think it was going to work. It did take quite a long time to fully charge up after being completely drained. I think it charges slower as it’s a small charger. I recommend giving it two full days before you throw in the towel. I also learned the hard way that it will not come on until you unplug the charger from the unit. My daughter had to set me straight on that. At the end of the day, it did charge the vehicle and he was able to ride it for hours , so we are thrilled. Hope this helps someone like me who doesn’t see results immediately.

Actually works
I had a different 12v 2.5A barrel jack charger lying around, so I thought I'd use that to charge the little ride-on car we got, but the battery didn't charge even when plugged in for 8 hours. I finally gave in and bought this little thing instead. I don't know what magic it has inside but it charged the battery full in only a couple of hours. The indicator light is helpful. Kids are very happy!
