Pro-level Hardware with USB SuperSpeed transfers
I have an older Nikon D800 which takes high speed Compact Flash and SD cards. My previous card readers were the previous Lexar reader which was USB2.0 and had a terrible plasticky body. After 6 years of use, it has stopped working altogether. But 6 years of real-world use is actually really good. Therefore, another Lexar Pro reader made sense to get. To my surprise, this isn't just a replacement. It's a big upgrade. The triangular design looks good on my desk and it's easy to just face the card type I am using. CF on one side and SD on the next. Transfer speeds are really good and I was pleasantly surprised to see USB-C on the actual device. It comes with a USB SS cable (super speeds for USB 3), but having a USB-C interface is a logical next step to have. These cards can't got to Thunderbolt transfers so SS is appropriate. In other words, the limiting speed factor is the card's read/write speeds. In a BlackMagic Disk speed, I got about 82MB/s in a CF card that is rated at 90MB/s, and about 255MB/s (read) on a SD card rated at 300MB/s. That's quite impressive. Finally, the value for money is a no-brainer. 6 years ago, I would have had to spend at least $100 for a SanDisk equivalent (made with a robust metal enclosure). At almost a fifth of that price, if I knew about this product sooner, I would have purchased it already. Thus far very pleased. I did see a review reporting issues with bent pins. That can happen with any card reader if the CF cards are inserted without any care. My gear is getting pretty old, but I still get amazing performance from them. That's largely because I treat my gear with care and respect and, in exchange, expect the best performance. I hope to have this card reader for many years to come.

This is a darn-good card reader for photographers
This kit is VERY tough. It's not meant for travel, but that means that I can keep my thumb-sized reader in my backpack and leave this plugged into my workstation at home. Having SD, Micro, and CF is the perfect combination as I can sync the memory cards from my full-frame DSLR, Hybrid SLR, and drone using the same device. It's nice and heavy so I'm not worried about knocking it off the desk or misplacing it. The USB 3 speeds are very quick and the chassis doesn't seem to get as warm as my previous adapter. It can be hard to find a combo reader these days that supports CF, so it was nice to find something that wasn't just a cheap CF-to-USB 2.0 adapter.

Nice little reader
Nicely sized and performs well. Runs a little warm though, hence the 4 stars, not 5

Lightning Fast!
For a while I held off on getting a CFexpress reader and just used the USB on my camera to transfer photos. I had a major project and my estimate was about a day to transfer my photos and I realized I needed to pull the trigger and get this. Finally, I could transfer my files faster than ever and I can actually fully reap the benefits of my expensive CFexpress cards now. The card slot functions well and fit the cards with no issues, it connects quickly to my MacBook, and the light on the top is nice to know that the connection works successfully. It is a little on the heavy side but for the size of it, that is not an issue.

Small, portable and reliable. Beware of UHS-I speeds.
This reader is pocket-sized, easy to use and has great speeds. Great versatility to use on devices that have USB-C and A. I was actually looking for an SD reader that can take advantage of the UHS-II interface but this one only goes up to UHS-I speeds, which is still a lot (around 140MB/s), but I haven't managed to reach the 205MB/s advertised. Just beware of that small detail. Everything else is good.

I have the card reader for 2 months, and I’ve been getting my files corrupt. I thought at first it was the actual card, and got a new one. However it still got corrupt. And tried different laptops as well. And finally I copied the files through another card reader and all of them were fine. Please stay away and rather purchase the original card reader from the camera manufacturer.
