Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I installed it and it fits perfectly and kept the motor and ESC much cooler during heavy use.

Keeps your motor and ESC cooler than expected. Performance is good id buy them for every rc I own if I could. Fits perfect, very stable at high speeds.

Fits the Traxxas Velineon VXL-3 in the newer Traxxas VXL models. I bought this for my Rustler 4x4 VXL. Simple install and does an adequate job keeping things cool. I did use some PC grade thermal paste on the motors heatsink for install and I'm sure that's making a bit of a difference. At first, one of the two fans on the motor cooler did NOT want to turn. I used some dielectric lubricant and some cleaner and it started spinning. Most people won't have these types of things on hand, so if you run into that issue, you may want to talk with the seller. After they all worked, they've taken a LOT of abuse. From water, to rocks/pebbles, to sand. And I just hose everything off and go back at it on the next run. They haven't failed after 20 or so runs in some really bad mud, water, sand, road gravel, and more. I run without those screen protectors, so they are basically open to all of the crap the front tires throw under the body. They haven't failed yet, so I'm impressed.

Second of all, it’s huge and the heatsink is going to rub on the motor wires any way you position it. Thirdly each fan is missing two of the four screws. Avoid this product. Disappointing. Perhaps they could try installing the heatsink fan on the models they’re marketing them for. Ok I had to update. I got it to work with some Modding. I can see why they left the screws out. Going to test.

Ok so these work great. My son and I raced our traxxas jato vxl 4x4 around a big grass field and ran 3 battery packs through each car. We had lots of fun but noticed that they got pretty hot. So I bought us both, these fans, one for each car, and they cooled every thing down extremely well, the next time we ran them around again the motor and esc was barely warm 🤯.!!! Definitely worth it. Easy to install and works great. Cools great.

Installed on my kiddos traxxas mini max with the BL-2s system. Install was easy and all fans so far work great! Installed mainly to prevent overheating issues during long run bashing sessions. So far I recommend this heat sink/fan combo! Great deal!

Works great on my Stampede. Brought the temps under control on both mine and my sons trucks. I used thermal paste with the heat sink.

Both parts clipped on easily, but I did have to sodder on a different connection for the motor heat sink.

Only needed the esc fan so excellent price for the quantity of what your getting. The stock velenion esc fan is $40 CAD alone. Quality is as expected slightly worse then stock but better bang for the buck.
