Ronseal Quick Drying Woodstain Deep Mahogany Satin 750ml

This is a seriously good brand of paint but it does require multiple coats to get a satisfactory finish. The makers recommend 3 coats followed by a last coat after sanding. I am on my 6th coat on a bare hardwood window sill and it will require a last coat after sanding. Incidentally, I use scotchbrite abrasive pads as used in the Motor Trade rather than sandpaper as I find it less invasive sanding on corners or sharp edges.

All one can say is, it does the job well plus of course it's water based so washing out the brush is easy and it dries quick

I was very pleased with this woodstain. First of all it has a structured consistency like non-drip paint and so is very easy to apply. As an area is painted it takes on a temporary greyish sheen and so it's very easy to see where the stain has been applied. This disappears after about 30 mins. After only 4-5 hours it is completely dry and can be re-coated. The final finish is an attractive satin gloss.

Great woodstain; used it for several wooden objects around the house and it gives a nice, deep colour and also good protection from wear and tear. The quick drying is a bonus, since one doesn't have to smell the varnish for hours on end...

Good coverage. Easy to apply and rinse brushes afterwards

I use Ronseal paint on a regular basis and I am never disappointed, gives instant cover and very quick to dry.

Only issue is that although this Stain is described as "Dark Mahogany" it was actually quite red in shade when applied to new wood. Needed several coats to achieve a more brown, Mahogany like finish. Despite the claims to the contrary suspect the finish will only last for 1 or 2 years if used outside.

I will be using this item in a weeks time on new weed,. I've had the item before and can definitely recommend it, it's a lovely colour on my Front Door and Gazeebo,s

J ai commandé plusieurs produits et lazure Ronseal. Très bon produit. Lasure à l eau. Séchage rapide et pour insidire sans odeurs. J utilise ce produit en intérieur et en extérieur. Pour l extérieur je remet tout les deux ans une couche quand nécessaire. Pour le chêne après séchage je passe un peu de cire d abeille.

uso questo prodotto da anni e mi trovo veramente bene. N on cola , si stende con facilità, asciuga velocemente ed è abbastanza coprente. Per un buon risultato do due mani vernice.
