Works perfectly!!!
Saw works exactly as advertised. Cuts any size branch with very little effort! The gloves, carrying case, and handles are all nice to haves that add extra value to the kit. I spent more time throwing the rope over the branches than I did cutting the branches down. Great kit and I highly recommend! One call out is you need 2x the rope for the height of the branch since the rope needs to drop down to ground height on both sides. I had to buy extra rope which came with a weighted bean bag since my branches were higher than the includes rope. I knew that going into it so it wasnโt an issue.

CAMPNDOOR High Limb Rope Saw 53 In - Zero Effort 360 Rope Chain Saw
This rope saw works well. I did not use the weight bag because it was square and a bit hard to throw with any accuracy. Bought a arborist throwing bag and I thought it was easier to throw up 30-40 feet into the tree. The hard part of this process is getting the rope up around the branch you want. It is harder than one might think at first. The other branches get in the way and aiming and throwing an object is hard as well. Some times the weight bag would wrap around the tree limb causing problems. It takes time to get down a rope in that case. I once had the rope go up and around a branch and go around a couple times. Oddly the rope clipped into the carabeaner up around 30 feet up. That took a few hours to get down. I stopped using the Carabeaner on the line while throwing the weight after that point. The carabeaner also would get stuck at the V in the branches. Better to tie the rope directly to the bag . And actually might be better to tie the ag onto the heavier rope using a light line. That way it will break off if it gets stuck. Eventually I did have success getting the rope around the right tree limbs. Getting the saw up was easy. The rope provided is a little short. I needed to add on another rope. The sawing action went well, I was able to easily and quickly saw the limb down once I had the rope up there. I only pulled the saw about a foot with each pull. At the end in all cases I worked on the chain stopped movement right at the point the limb started to break. And after the limb fell the chain fell down following the limb. I had one short limb only about 12 feel up off the ground and decided to use this rope chain saw because it cuts faster than a hand saw. However at about half way thru the 2-3 inch branch the chain jammed and I could not free it. I went up there with a ladder to check it out. I found the chain stuck in the branch and I could not easily free it. I did what I would do if I couldn't reach the branch, I put another rope over the end of the branch and had another person pull down slightly on that rope while I pulled on the rope chain. It did free up and I was able to continue cutting until it fell down. The two things different in this last case is that I was cutting directly under the branch, because it was short and light. And the other thing is the branch was much lighter than the other branches. I think that if I had been further away from the tree, cutting on an angle, it might not have jammed. Cutting at a 90 degree to the branch will jam. I think it cuts thru too fast and sinks the chain into the branch too tight. So short of the story, try to cut the branch so you are further out from the tree to avoid cutting at a 90 degree angle to the branch. And have another rope handy to use to put weight on the end of the branch, if needed. I recommend this chain saw to get limbs down from tall trees. You can remove the top half of tall limbs and avoid hitting the house or other obsticles.

Great rope saw for hard to reach limbs.
Delivered today. Used today. Saw chain is more than adequate. Grommet of the throw bag ripped out but that was on me. The bag got stuck and I had to jerk it off the branch. Throwing the bag to the proper limb is the most challenging part of your project. Once in the correct place, the saw works great. Use slow slight pressure. I made the mistake of pulling down too much and pinched the saw between the cut.

Cuts through limbs fast!
Worked better than expected. Cuts though branches really fast. Takes longer to throw the weighted pouch around the branch than it's does to cut it! I didnโt use the included handles, just grabbed each rope with the included gloves. I recommend anyone tobtry this before spending big bucks with a tree service.

Good Product; Works Well
Me and my spouse used this to cut several high branches. It works as intended & was productive for us. We had some difficulty throwing it as high as we needed to get it over the higher branches but that's no fault of the product. If I was younger, I would have climbed the tree to get higher. It's a good product.

Not Safe
Does not come with instructions on how to knit the ropes but I did find a tutorial on tying the knots an arborist would use. I practiced sawing a couple of limbs that were no more than 3 inches in diameter. It worked great! Then I moved on to a bigger limb that was 6 to 8 inches in diameter and 16 feet high. Since this on was bigger I figured it would be best to make this a two person job. We started to saw and the chain snapped and hit my spouse and put a hole in his pants. Thankfully he wasnโt injured. I expected much better performance and durability. I cannot recommend this product. It is not safe. The chain could have easily hit either of us in the face and caused serious injuries. Call a professional instead!

Chain and rope is all you need
Did a lot of cutting years back with a similar product. Got it out of storage a few weeks ago and used it with my son for the day and we determined it could use a sharpening. The service center I brought it to couldnโt sharpen a double sided saw so I figure it was worth buying a new one. I bought the whole kit as it was just $10-$15 more than chainsaw only. The case is nice! Iโm not sure how to go about using the sharpener. Do I hold the chain in a vice grip and assist every couple inches until finished. Seems like a huge waste of time. Buy a new one if someone canโt sharpen it for me for $4. The handles are rather pointless as each branch you cut will require them to be at a different position. Even while working on a single branch, if itโs thick you may want to adjust the distance or angle of your stance for comfort and effectiveness thereby needing the position of the handles changed. Others wrote that they were cheap and broke on first use. I donโt even bother with them. Pointless. I suppose for shipping cost this kits come with two big bags to fill on your own. They seem awkwardly sized to throw far. I used my 10oz throw weight from my old chain. Canโt imagine wanting to use those bags over it. Finally, probably the most significant thing I found with this kit, the rope is a good quality that Iโve used for several branches before showing signs of wear. But. I found out quickly that for higher branches, itโs too heavy. Iโve been using a lighter weight rope to through as I canโt get much more distance and then tying the included rope up with it. Also. They lie when they say it wonโt get stuck! Lol. Itโs the nature of the project. The instructions say to take breaks but thatโs dangerous business. Often when you get into a rhythm of cutting and then stop for whatever reason, your inviting a jam. Its usually when your getting to the end of a cut because at that point very little of the chain saw is doing any work. Youโve got just a small portion of it wrapped around whatโs left to cut so it binds up. Nature of the beast. Can be a real pain to get things tossed just where you need the chain places and deal with the jams, but I canโt afford a professional.

Love it.
Great little tool. I would suggest selling with two different size chains. For large high limbs it's easy for two people but harder job for one. Not so easy to use on lower smaller limbs, the chain is just too long would have to stand really far back.

Works great!
Works great. Gloves are awesome. It sometimes will jam but you just have to work it out. Highly recommend.

Not working as described
Good quality product, however it has gotten caught ever time I have used it. Making it useless. Yet to successfully cut a branch down

Rope saw good purchase
Works well able to finally get a few of those overhanging branches down without having to work off ladders , cut through with ease and is better if you have another person pulling the other end of the rope you can stand further away.
