Child loved the set.

My son is fascinated with insects lately. These are very well made, with detail and feels solid. My son seems to really like it.

These figures for incomplete metamorphosis are great. The picture cards for each stage are not. Many have incorrect labels. For example, the nymphs (and dragonfly naiads) are labeled as larva. The mantis nymph near the ootheca is labeled egg hatching. Not so awesome. However, had I looked closely at the images I should have noticed this when I purchased it.

The other two life cycles plants and snail, were great! But there are no bees that lay eggs on a leaf thebway the model shows! This doesn't match the picture provided or reality. I wouldn't mind this so much except that these are intended to teach about the real world and the models are not even consistent with the pictures provided.

I was SO impressed with the quality of these toys! They're so life-like. I love that each box teaches a different life cycle lesson. My kids love them too!

I bought it to teach my son about the growth of these insects and he loved it.

These life cycles have been a wonderful addition to our discovery center during our insect unit. Our students love the hands on concepts of these manipulatives and we plan to hang the corresponding cycle cards for reference. Must have for an early childhood classroom.
