I only bought it for a particular job in a hard-to-reach location. Instead, I used it as an emergency replacement for a failed Linksys £200+ router, linked to a BT FTTH fibre modem and a Pi-Hole DNS server, also a small switch for lots of Ethernet connections. Easy to setup with my settings - beat the BT Smart Hub 2 into the ground - and performance was better than the (admittedly, 4-year old) Linksys. All this for £16 !! Amazing...

I have a smart home. Alexa, lights, plugs etc and upgraded my internet to a high speed connection. The thought of changing all my smart devices to the new router was rather daunting. So, I got this and changed it's name and password to my that of my old router, then connected it to my new modem. (This router allows older style passwords of 8 characters. Some new ones will not allow less than 12 with special characters. So it's perfect for your older modem) Bingo. All my smart devices now run through this router and work fine. (300M max speed is far faster than you'll ever need for smart devices) Like any router or modem, I'd recommend you turn it off and on again every so often (It clears data that can slow it down) but if you do, this works amazingly well. Especially for the price. PLus, it look all flashy with blinking lights and all that :)

Easy to install and works well. In spite of its price, this does exactly what it should and set up was easy. Strong WiFi signal albeit in a relatively small apartment.

Excellent quality and great price, fast and simple set up with no hastle and in my opinion for now it is just as good as TP-link brand but for a lot better price

I should start by saying I had very modest expectations of this router, I wasn't expecting it to go across an entire floor but just cover one small room and initially I was very impressed with the purchase, easy to setup, very configurable, good connectivity. However over time the connection gets worse where now 2 months later my laptop and phone which are on the table next to the router cannot get a stable WiFi signal as it keeps dropping, the WiFi network doesn't broadcast for some reason. I've reset the router, turned it on and off again but it doesn't seem to solve the issue. I get this is cheap but to be honest it's a waste of money as it's now passed the return window, you'd be better off investing in a reliable brand. Avoid!

Decent build quality and very easy to setup, esentially plug and play (unless you want to set a password for it then it will take a minute or two on a browser to setup). A very good router for those with lesser internet requirements AKA most households. The only issue comes with the fact the the ethernet ports are 10/100M instead or 10/100/1000M meaning your ethernet speeds will be capped at 90-100 Mbps even if your internet provides faster speeds. Like I said these speeds will be fine for most people however if you want/need higher speeds then this isnt the router for you. Kind of dissapointing that none of the packaging displays this information and I only found it via some small print in the product description which is very easy to miss. For wifi usage alone I guess i don't see any issue, if speed is your priority then you should be using an ethernet connection anyway.

Got this for my home office which is at the end of the garden. Hard been using a single hard wire but now home working is here to stay have introduced a couple of extra gadgets to make life more comfortable. These were using the wi-fi from the house but this wasn’t always up to it. Therefore it was time for a hub for the office. Looked around and for the price this looked the best option. Well been using it for a couple of weeks and it’s working out really well. Now have voice activated lights and, come the winter, will be adding a heater on a smart plug. Would recommend as a good option for an affordable add on to home wi-fi and for me a separate home office solution.

I have this connected to a TP Link Powerline in the bedroom as the stock Plusnet router I have in the living room is useless and most devices disconnect outside of a 6-10 metre radius (yes that bad). Plugged it in, turned on and set itself up straight away. I get a better connection throughout the house with this than the Plusnet router and a more stable connection. Wish i'd have considered this earlier rather than eating through mobile data but for under £15 it's perfect. For an above average user of the internet i'm not sure what more you could get without paying considerably more.

Extremely easy to setup. Took me less than 5 mins to setup the Router as a repeater and signal reception is amazing. Total Value for Money.

Decent product. Easy to install, looks good, not like other tacky looking routers. M not satisfied with Wifi range. Mine is 2bhk with router in living room, the range in the last bedroom is limited. I was expecting it to cover all corners. Otherwise a decent product.
