Label printer
I am giving a good review because overall it was handled very professionally. The brand name was not the same as the one listed. And no matter how hard we tried, it wouldn’t install on any of our devices. Guessing the printer just had a glitch. So the problems were most likely not the fault of the seller…benefit of the doubt so they say. Overall I am satisfied with the way my return was handled and the quick refund. Be sure to ask questions about the actual brand name printed on the printer.

Easy to Set-up & Operate
Today everyone has a side hustle. If you're not off trying to start a business as a nutrition guru, motivational speaker or business coach, you're selling stuff on eBay or Etsy. People even sell their stuff on eBay, just to get rid of their stuff or to make room for new stuff. It's easy, sometimes it's fun and who doesn't like to make a few extra bucks.Sure, selling your stuff is easy, but getting it to the buyer is a pain in the butt. You have to package it, create the shipping documents and print out the label. The websites you sell through make it easy by guiding you through the steps including helping you print out the shipping label. This printer makes printing out the labels even easier and it'll make you look like a pro. The label it will print out will be water resistant, smear resistant and will adhere to the packages without having to cover it from top to bottom and side to side with packing tape.I've set up dozens of these thermal label printers and it doesn't get much easier than setting up this one. It'll take 10 minutes tops to set this up from unboxing through printing your first label and it'll be pain free. There are 2 basic ways to set up this printer. You can set it up for use on your phone/tablet running IOS or Android or you can set it up to print from your Mac or PC or you can set up both ways like I did. If you do set it up both ways, the Bluetooth will only work if you unplug the USB cable and restart the printer. After unboxing the printer, put in the labels on the internal spool, stretch the first label past the opening (and under the side guides) and close the printer. Plug the printer into the power supply and turn it on by the rocker switch in the back. Then push the button on the front to load the labels into position.Setting up for IOS or AndroidGo to your app store and install Label Life (You can also scan the QR code in the instruction manual.) on startup you'll need to tell the app to find the printer. Once this is done you can use the app to create labels or upload labels. It's intuitive so have some fun with it.Setting up for Mac or PCIn the instruction manual there is a link for you to follow to the Label Life website. Go to downloads and download/install the software. During installation the program will install the drivers needed as well as the Label Life program. You can then use the program to create or upload labels to print or create the labels on your own and print it out by going through the normal print dialog process, selecting this printer as your printer.I like this printer better than most of the shipping label printers I've set up as this one stores the labels inside the printer rather than feeding the labels through from behind for 2 reasons. First, it protects the labels from damage and takes up less room than having a separate tray behind the printer to manage the labels.

Confusing at first but handy
The Phomemo (Itari) address label printer is a sleek and portable desk size printer. The good: prints extremely fast using blue tooth from your phone.Prints crisp and clear.Easy to plug inEasy to load paper. The paper ripped clean and the label stuck well to the packaging. It was quiet. The cons: the app is slow .The labels that came with it were not in the pre-sets.The tutorials would not load from the app so I had to guess on what I was doing and got a little frustrated. In conclusion: once I have time to mess around with it, the Phomemo address label printer has the potential to be a perfect small business essential tool.

great for shipping labels
I had never used a thermal printer before, but love not having to mess with ink cartridges and refilling, and the print quality is great! My printer says Phomemo on it and not Itari. Then I'm using the Labelife app on my phone, which has been working out ok. It took a while to figure out the process and even some trial and error to notice the label perforation lines up with the end edge of the printer. I use this for printing 4x6 shipping labels for product I sell on Marketplace and such. They send me the label and I open it in Labelife and print it out to stick on the shipping box. That's the one and only thing I've used this for as I don't want to change out the labels and will keep it a single purpose machine. It's working out great!

Works great
This label printer is easy to set up and easy to use. I am able to hook it up to my laptop and easily print the labels I need. I can even connect it to my phone to print labels. The labels come out looking sharp. It is even a nice different color so it is just a boring office label maker.

Best form factor for printing 4x6 shipping labels
I got this to try to come up with a better setup for printing my many shipping labels. (Standard 4x6 format). Thermal is DEFINITELY the way to go, especially if you integrate with Square POS or PirateShip services. You have some choices, though, when going to thermal. You can use the older 4x6 fanfold thermal labels or go with the roll type. This printer uses the roll type and thus takes up way less room. The only downside is swapping rolls of labels rather than just feeding the topmost fanfold and being off to the races.Fanfold, though, requires a ton of room BEHIND the printer for the stack of labels, plus feeding length. It is a PAIN.This printer houses the label roll in the same footprint. Win!The app is weird, but works. It is iffy on configuring to print certain label sizes. I just print direct to the device and I am thrilled.

Very convenient
This is so great to have if you're shipping a lot of packages. It makes it easy to just download the app and print your packing labels right there to put onto your boxes. Connects through Bluetooth on your phone and you can print immediately, or you can just plug it into your computer, it's plug and play.It is thermal printing so just something to be mindful of. It's convenient and takes up little space if you need something for your side business or if you just have the habit of returning a lot of stuff back. Either way, I definitely recommend!
