can you use this on carpet that has carpet tape residue?

Seems like it would work on carpet. I've used it on numerous surfaces but not carpet, yet.

will this remove paint from glass window?

This is for Barb. try using acetone or 1 step down nail polish remover. But be careful, it's strong. Try a out of the way place to see what it does. Or call 1 or 2 Flooring/carpet places and ask them. If you type into Google only 6 words for your problem you will get a hit, and 1 or more Youtube vids. dealing with it. Take it easy...........M
