is it similar to the hard plastic nylabones?

No, it’s much better than the Nylabones! Very different! I’ve had 5 dogs since 1992 and never had a one who would chew the Nylabones. These are like rubber. I got the doughnut shaped one for my 2 young Beagles and they seem to like it. It’s a bit heavy, so a pretty small dog might not be able to carry it around... You can roll the donut to them like a wheel and they like that, too.

What is it made out of? My dog recently broke his tooth and i dont want anything hard plastic like nylabones

This toy is actually made of very durable rubber. It is not hard plastic. If you grab both ends you can bend it just a little bit in the center. My dog is a very aggressive chewer and has not made a dent in it !

Does this product still have a guarantee?

I think the product has some sort of guarantee if chewed through the outer layer. You would have to check with the manufacturer
