GOOD EMERGENCY TOOL
WHAT I LIKEIt's a tool you never want to use but it's good to have it handy. The hammer head is solid metal. It has a slot type of seatbelt cutter. It is easy to hold on to it.WHAT I DON’T LIKENot a deal breaker since I found a workaround. See the picture. You have to deal with the two small straps to pull the hammer out of the loops. It does not matter if it is positioned head up or down. That is something I would not want to fiddle with in an emergency. When positioned with the head down it is much quicker to grab the hammer. The Velcro strap is positioned to easily flip down the sun visor, quickly pull the strap open and remove the hammer and strap together. There is no need to remove the strap to use the hammer. Or, don't put it on the sun visor.

Super handy. Does everything it says it does. The pink is appealing. Great value.

Sturdy Emergency Tool
Well, I am hoping never to encounter the need to use this tool. However, if you are like me, this is one of those things you would rather own.... “Better to have, and not need, than to need, and not have.”! Aside from its stylish vibrant color, which stands out from the dark interior of my car's glove compartment (making it easier to find), this tool is lightweight; it is small but feels sturdy. It has everything the listing described: A double-headed hammer, a sharp blade (hidden in a safe curved hook) to quickly help you cut the seat belt, and a high-visibility reflective strap to help you save time when trying to find it even in the darkness light. Overall, it is an essential emergency tool we should all have... better to be safe than sorry!

Good hammer, bad mount
Haven't had a chance to actually test this, but the hammer appears good quality, typical of similar items. The mounting harness doesn't make any sense, though. It's shown attached to a wall or your car's visor, but the way it has to be on there to not fall out means that if you are in a panic, you'd have to struggle with it to make sure it doesn't get caught on the various straps. A sheath of some sort would have been better, either using friction to hold it in, or a single quick velcro strap. Also slightly concerned about the cap on the pointy part of the hammer, but I can just remove that as well as the mount.I'll just be storing it in a convenient pocket in my car.

Untested but Looks Great
I love this! Thankfully, I have not had cause to actually use it but I'm very impressed and it now lives in my glove box. I live in FL, not far from where they recently found 20 something cars in one canal. People literally go in bodies of water here all the time so when I saw this I knew it was a really important safety tool to keep in the car. It's lightweight but feels super sturdy and the ends you'd use to hammer the windows look like they definitely could break them. It has a neat little Velcro hand hold on the back which would definitely help you not lose your grip on it in an actual emergency. And of course there is the seat belt cutter which is also a really important safety tool. To top it all off, I got it in this gorgeous shade of pink. While I hope never to have to actually put this test, I am very happy with it and it immediately gave me just a little more piece of mind knowing I have it tucked into the glove compartment if needed.

Handy to have, poor carrying elastic
Solid and sturdy for the size. I hope to never use this but it’s good on had to have in an emergency. I was even thinking this is good idea to have on hand in a kid’s room for a first floor in a fire emergency. I imagine it would work on a window if your child was not able to open their tall windows.I’m pretty disappointed in the strap/case thing it came with. Because of the placement, it cuts through the elastic (see picture) and the elastic is poorly designed and barely threaded on. I wish it just came with a case with a secure Velcro as this easily slips out. I think this was meant to keep on the visor but due to the poor strap/elastic cover it won’t stay on and I can potentially see this slipping out and damaging the window which makes it a hazard.I keep this secure under the seat. I hope I never have to use it but it gives me a little peace of mind.

Helpful multi-purpose tool.
The tool itself is great quality. The fabric handle design is flawed. My husband has big hands and tried to move the fabric handle and the seatbelt cutter severed half of the handle. It cut right through it. It works perfectly fine without the handle, but it would have been a nice to have.
