Shower Hose 2 m Kink Protection Shower Hose 2 m Stainless Steel 304 Chrome-Plated (1.5m Gold)

I brought this to replace leaky hose. It’s a hose right there all the same? Unfortunately, not! Arrived in an Amazon packet, inside in a sealed plastic bag was the hose and fitting instructions. I did not read the instructions and have since thrown them away so cannot tell you how good they were. The ends of the hoses were fitted with protectors which I thought was a nice touch and added to my perception of quality of the product. The product felt solid and had a good finish. I then fitted, 2 mins later shower up and running with one small problem, my power shower was less powerful! I compared the old with the new and noticed the newer hose diameter was ever so slightly smaller, I can only assume the plastic hose inside is even smaller than the one I replaced. All said I cannot fault the product and it more a lesson not to make assumptions so I have awarded 5 stars.

This shower hose has a kind of steel-spring out sheath, and it's narrower than the standard shower hose, but it works a treat for our shower. My only complaint is the smooth connector is also narrower than standard and moves about in our riser. Otherwise, it's proving hardy with no signs of weakness even after several months of daily multiple use/movement.

Received the replacement hose promptly. My kids destroyed the metal outside of my last 2 hoses, and I usually go to a big DIY store nearby (a big household name) to get a replacement, but for some reason they no longer do gold hoses, anyway... Hose arrived, looks identical to the other, and comes with the O rings and retainer caps at either end (nice touch). Installation a doddle (as per usual with these things), however, I have noted that the water runs through this hose very much slower than before: with the shower head pointing up, the water would 'fountain' out of the shower head with the old hose. After changing to this hose, the water simply collects in the head and dribbles over the side. This might indicate that the inner diameter of the pipe is probably wider than that from the DIY superstore. So, although one can still shower with it, it's not as powerful as it was before so a little disappointed with the replacement.

Ich habe dieses Produkt gleich nachbestellt, es ist optisch gut, leicht anzubringen und von guter Qualität. Lediglich hat es einen leicht öligen Geruch, der aber im laufe der Zeit nachlässt. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut.

Algo menos llamativa al no ser cromada (y por tanto menos brillante), pero mucho más duradera y manejable. La recomiendo.
