I recently upgraded from the Xiaomi Pad 5 to the newly launched Xiaomi Pad 6, and my initial impressions are largely positive. Here's a breakdown of my experience with the device: 1. Performance and Multitasking: Just like its predecessor, the Xiaomi Pad 6 impresses with its performance and multitasking capabilities. Apps run smoothly, and I can seamlessly switch between tasks without any noticeable lag. 2. Heating Issues: One notable difference I observed is that the Pad 6 tends to heat up more quickly, especially in the area where the portable Wi-Fi keyboard connects to the tablet. This could potentially affect battery life, as I've noticed a slightly faster drain compared to the Pad 5. However, it's unclear whether this is a widespread issue or specific to my unit. 3. Xiaomi Hyper OS: The new Hyper OS introduced with the Pad 6 is a significant improvement over the previous operating system. It offers a smoother user experience and enhanced features. However, I have encountered some glitches, such as screen rotation issues and occasional crashes while using YouTube. Fortunately, these issues were resolved with a simple restart. 4. Rating: I would rate the Xiaomi Pad 6 a solid 4.5/5. While no tablet is perfect, the Pad 6 comes close to being a killer product with its impressive performance, sleek design, and upgraded operating system. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new tablet.

This tab is just excellent. Especially the high refresh rate screen just flows like a charm when multitasking. Camera is positioned well and useful for zoom meetings. This tab just handles any task effortlessly. The best tab for this price point.

I am very finicky when it comes to choosing a gadget and the brand. I usually stick to Samsung.. It wasn't even big fan of Xiaomi. But I bought this pad due to budget constrain. Surprisingly, this product is so amazing and has performed beyond my expectations. The display, sound, performance, gaming experience all has been beyond my expectations. It's highly recommended product.

I bought this tablet for my mother and I have to say this tablet is very impressive. The specs are not just to brag, but they actually deliver! The HyperOS version of Android from Xiaomi is so smooth and user-friendly. If you are looking for a tab with amazing specs, battery life, sound (truly loud) and overall hassle free user experience, choose this tab!

The seller sold me Chinese version. Made some custom ram change to make global version. So not getting any software update Or any service. Stuck to MIUI version.

La tablet rezuma calidad, muy rápida, imagen y video impresionante, no la he probado con juegos, la calidad de construcción es muy buena. Creo que es la mejor en relación calidad/precio actual, no creo que tenga mucho que envidiar a los modelos que triplican su precio. Algo negativo, no tiene reconocimiento por huella, aunque lo tiene facial, pero no es tan fiable. Recomendable máquina

Estou muito satisfeito com o tablet. Ele conta com um processador potente e uma excelente memória RAM, o que garante uma experiência fluida, sem travamentos. Para quem, como eu, busca um aparelho principalmente para estudos, a autonomia da bateria é mais que suficiente, proporcionando várias horas de uso sem precisar recarregar. O único ponto negativo que encontrei está relacionado à Hyper OS. Ela traz algumas funcionalidades que podem ser um pouco difíceis de se acostumar, e, por isso, não recomendo a atualização para a versão mais recente. No entanto, tirando esse detalhe, o tablet é excelente e tem sido extremamente útil no meu dia a dia.

The Xioami Pad 6 has superior specs and price relative to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Google Pixel Tablet, which I had previously considered. I don't know what Lenovo is offering in this price range but I will never buy another tablet from them. This product is of great value and while I'm delighted with it, you must know some details to be certain that it will meet your needs. This product is WiFi only and does not have cellular connectivity. It does not have satellite navigation capability and is therefore impractical for use as a GPS in your car. There is no SD port. It lacks a vibration feature. As stated, no stylus is included at this price - one can be purchased separately from elsewhere. Unexpected to me, up to 8g of the storage can be used to extend the included 8g of RAM - storage is slower but this is a nice feature that will likely extend the useful life of this tablet. The tablet comes with a simple Office suite and painting program. The Xioami launcher is very basic, having fewer features than is generally included on a free phone made of recycled parts by a generic fly-by-night Chinese brand. You may eventually want to download the free Nova Launcher from the app store, or some other. If you don't know what a launcher is, don't worry about it. Xioami did put an iota of effort into adding basic features to the lock screen but came up very short, in my opinion - the clock and date work, at least. On the other hand, a real effort was made by Xioami to take advantage of the functionality of the hardware and that is the most important thing, and well appreciated. I had problems adding YouTube videos to my "watch later" list >via notifications< due to network timeout issues. To fix this and other such problems, read the following: The app "Game speed booster" (confusingly, a link to it can be found in the "Security" app under the name "Game Turbo") has a couple of problematic settings that are enabled by default and should be turned off. In said app, open the settings at the top right. Select the "Performance Mode" category on the left. Turn off "Mi Wifi speed booster" at the bottom (this setting is worthless unless you own a Xioami WiFi router). Now push "Performance Mode" at the top (not the aforementioned category on the left with the same name). Turn off "Wifi Optimization." This will solve the problem. This setting appears to prioritize lowering the currently loaded game's internet latency at the expense of other networking functionality. You may want to try temporarily turning this setting back on while playing an online multiplayer FPS game to see if it makes a noticeable difference. I doubt it consistently will but good luck. As far as this particular purchase goes: the product is legit, as is the seller who shipped the tablet the next day from the East Coast, USA, with it arriving at its final West Coast destination shortly thereafter. It was packaged well for transport by the distributor. Be aware that the included power adapter is for European outlets and so, worthless. The tablet will charge from any old USB power adapter but if you want to charge the tablet as quickly as possible, make sure you have an adapter that supplies at least 33 watts to a Quick Charge port (which is usually bright orange inside). If you want a longer charging cable, make sure it is rated similarly to allow the battery to pull maximum current. The tablet will display "Quick Charge" when connected properly, and will not display that text when it is charging at a slower speed. I hope you are as pleased with your purchase as I am.
