Great for my purpose
Oukitel wp26 Edit: 15/10/24 Just dropped the beast on the floor about 4ft, It passed the test, it bounced and no issues what so ever. Had the phone for a year now, its battery, and the phone are working perfectly. This is a great phone Reason for purchase I have never bought a mobile phone in my life, and never felt the need to. I started to get heart arrhythmia and also had a heart attack 18 months ago. The heart clinic recommended I get a Kardia 6 lead device that can do ECG from home with a mobile phone I was given a Sony Xperia by my wife. It worked OK but mobile signal was weak, but it did connect to the Kardia ECG. A couple of weeks ago the bluetooth started to fail, so I decided to research a decent mobile and came across the Oukitel WP26. I liked the fact it was rugged but more importantly, it has a great torch that could be used in a power cut with a good battery that lasts. My other reason was bluetooth connection to my Kardia device. When it arrived it felt heavy, but very well made and robust, it was easy to set up, plus it did not have all the garbage like facebook, whatsapp and all the other rubbish apps that I would never use. You can choose to install them if you wish, but all I want is a solid phone that can double as a medical device and emergency light. I love the larger feel of this phone and is easier to use with arthritic hands, the icons are easier to see and use, and my Lebara sim worked first time with stronger signal than in the Sony Xperia. I had to do and update once I finished setting up, and my Kardia ECG works flawlessly. I watched videos before purchase of idiots trying to destroy the phone by frying it and dropping it, hitting nails and burning it etc, but for the normal user, I think this is one of the best potential safety and medical devices you could want if your of the older generation. As I say its heavy, but works very well. All the cameras work very well including night vision, and no bloatware running in the background, I switched off some of the apps I wont use and it runs fast, with good sound that I can hear. For the price, this is a lot of phone for your buck. My only quibble is that the factory fitted screen protector has a minute pin head air bubble underneath. But I will be keeping the phone. I have only had it a few days, if it develops issues later on, I will update my review. It gets my vote for being the best phone I could ever want and does everything I need it to do and should I drop it, hopefully it will not break. I cannot speak for the Oukitel models but the WP26 is superb on first impression.

Nice solid tough phone.
Nice phone with a monster of a battery and awsome LED light. Good all round phone which I liked a lot but the graphics capability wasn't quite as good as what I needed for a specific app. Ran everything else no problem and I really didn't want to have to send it back.

This bad boy can take some hits but will crumble just like any other ol device.
I have to admit, overall, very satisfied, for the price, minus the android 13 system limit. Beautiful. Beast of a device. Averaging 5Gb of the total 8Gb at standby (A bit heavy, but seeing as I use it as an Amazon DA delivery device.. acceptable). Screen is crisp. However, on the first few days, touches were very.. glitchy. Keyboard would randomly swipe and make up words, it is however doing a little less of this now. Software.. uff.. Aside from the flex app nothing is installed on this bad boy. With that in mind. Cannot say as a device it is the swiftest. Clunky, I've had to turn on developer options and turn off the window. Animations just to give it a snappy feel. Else it really does come off as quite slow. Durability... Aaah yes.. the oukitel signature. Advertisements of cars driving over the thing, (I was so looking forward to testing the camera underwater) But 3 days into using it as a work phone. One little slip out of my hand. Not even waist high. Please ref. images attached. The screen did not crack, it did not chip.. no.. it shattered. Given.. it does still work.. Less of the aforementioned keyboard glitching. Infact, if anything the thing is a little more responsive now. Yet for what it is advertised as being. The software side, I can forgo on that, cannot expect OS level smoothness or other flagship android device snappyness. Yet the brutal betrayal of a rugged phone flaking.. not even a week into the job. That cut me deep.. Thus the 3 star rating. Overall good device for normal usage. But if you are jumping in and out of a vehicle 160+ times a day, open and closing/sliding van doors while carrying parcels. This bad boy can take some hit but will crumble just like any other ol device. Gonna be another case of screen replacements on standard order

All round good phone
It's heavy, but you're buying a big battery phone. Takes the knocks, takes the rain, takes reasonable photos, at night or in the pool. Great light on the campsite. Really useful. If you drop it, get your foot out of the way quickly. Does all you want and is good on the dash for satnav or music. Wish I'd waited 2 days, it £50 cheaper now. It's what I wanted, and some I didn't know I wanted. Recommended buy.

Poor quality
Phone fell out of my pocket as I was going to sit down so wasn't even that high from the ground and it cracked the screen and the screen protector. So much for a rugged phone.

No manual and little support
It doesn't come with a manual and it is difficult to find one online. When I first bought it I tried contacting their support without success. As an example I was trying to disable the camera flash earlier today and couldn't find out how to do that. The battery is good..twice the capacity of most phones

Best rugged work phone yet
Great quality phone, has all the bells and whistles as other competitors and more. Nice sized screen, fast working operating system and used as my secondary phone for self employed purposes. Paired with a case and the amazing light in case of emergencies, just what you need!

Absolutely brilliant for the cost
I purchased this to take with me to the Philippines due to wanting a phone with long battery life. It’s very heavy and quite bulky, and may not be suited to everybody’s needs but it is a good quality item and the battery life is as stated in the advert. And also the camping light is absolutely brilliant. Will definitely recommend
