I used to have Austrian Audio HI-X65 headphones and they fell apart after maybe 6 months. These have not. They are great quality and once they've been worn a bit they're very comfy. The fit is great, being over ear and open back just adds to the general comfort as you don't sweat in them. They weigh a surprisingly small amount compared to some of used. They do look a little strange at first and they're huge but the quality of the sound is incredible and owes itself somewhat to the appearance so it's a worthwhile trade. They're fantastic value. I have never had headphones that are so detailed with such a wide soundstage. All round incredible. One thing that might not be for everyone is that they are open back meaning you hear everything in your surroundings and others can hear what you hear if close enough. They are very open...

The HiFiMAN Ananda Nano has completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I put them on, the level of clarity, detail, and openness is on another level compared to anything I’ve used before. The standout is the soundstage and separation. Music doesn’t just play—it feels like it surrounds you. Every instrument has its own space, and vocals come through with incredible realism. You start noticing details in tracks you’ve heard for years but never fully appreciated. For acoustic, orchestral, and even well-produced modern music, these are simply breathtaking. The planar magnetic drivers really shine here. The sound is fast, clean, and incredibly precise without ever feeling harsh. The tuning feels very natural and balanced, making long listening sessions a pleasure rather than fatiguing. Comfort is excellent too. Despite their size, they’re surprisingly light and the large ear cups make them easy to wear for hours. They disappear on your head, which is exactly what you want when you’re getting lost in music. Yes, they’re open-back—but that’s exactly why they sound so good. The openness creates a huge, airy presentation that closed-back headphones just can’t match. So, I own quite a few Hifiman headphones, out of the 10 pairs that I have 4 came with defects, this one has a 0.6 cm chip in the top of one of the cups and Its also so tight, is it for a 10 year old child ? you can loosen them by bending each side a bit but.. for that money I expect better quality.. they are not a £5 pair.. Sound wise its very good I like it, its no Arya stealth but its good and detailed, need to run it in more before I can say they are just right.. Price wise, I think its sat just at the right price for what it offers in sound.. If you are looking for a mid-range pair of planars I would say go for it or the XV edition ! HIFIMAN please check these before boxing them..

I've been a fan of Hifiman products for some years and consider myself an audiophile. I won't use too many audiophile terms however as I find them pretentious even if they are descriptive. They were tight on the head at first and standard pads aren't very good, they always feel like they'll break but I've had about 2 years with them now and love every day with them. I would recommend for the best to come from them balanced cables and a decent DAC or amp are an ideal but chances are you'll have one already if you're considering these. It can be a mixed bag with their products with regards to reliability but I've had several pairs from various tiers of their range and these too have been reliable. Not the cheapest but they've still given me a vastly better and more moving experience of audio than anything else I've heard. They might lack the slam of bass but the bass they produce is warm and organic, heavy if the track or song was made to sound heavy in the first place but there's no "mega bass" style enhancement here, just musical purity. Highly recommended.

For reference I am powering these with a balanced cable from Linsoul (also on Amazon) as that makes full use of the power of my Fiio K7 headphones amp (2W per channel). My most recent headphones were HD650 (modded) since 2014, and the HiFiMAN Sundara. Both also balanced to get the best out of them. The sound hits hard low with loads of detail, the highs are not overly bright, even though some reviews stated these are brighter than the Sundara, they are not, the Sundara has a less natural/authentic sounding treble range, whereas the Ananda Nano has authenticity but with loads of energy if that makes sense? Some tracks that peak in a specific range (modern electronic/metal for example) can have some comfort issues in the high frequency as there is a lot of treble detail to be experienced and the Nano focuses on bringing treble range forwards too giving them emphasis for that "live" experience. I don't listen to this sort of music though but I do have some on my headphones test playlist just to see what they are like. And because the drivers are so tall, they offer some interesting sound verticality. The Sundara are much smaller and round, you don't get the same verticality with those. The clamp force of the headband is similar to the Sundara, but you can slightly bend the metal band at the top to expel some of the pressure. These are way more comfortable than the Nano, not as comfortable as the HD650 Sennheiser, but not much is out there given how light the Sennheisers are. That's not to say that the Nano isn't comfortable. On my head they seem just about right for long session listening or gaming. The soundstage and stereo imaging on these is next level. Some pro reviewers likened them to the Arya Organic, a £1200 headphone and it's easy to see why, similar sized planars sharing similar acoustics. The Arya are more laid back I read, but the Nano are also laid back compared to the up front Sundara.

I am relatively new in HiFi. I bought various other IEMs and over the ear devices. I was a bit reluctant about this pair based on reviews. I can say that the build quality is great, not plasticky at all, decent head fit (I have a big head). The sound quality is unbelievable, had nothing even close before. Beautiful! Clear, airy, pleasant, easy to drive. I am delighted with my purchase! Cannot comment about durability but I don’t have any concerns currently. There is also a decent case and a decent 3.5mm long cable. There is a significant difference with the 4.4mm balanced cable which I have from another pair of headphones. Best thing I bought this year!

Great headphones, sound is amazing, BUT,after a couple of hours of listening, there is no bass and the treble made my ears bleed ! Shame,I am returning them.

I’ve spent a lot of time in the last year looking for an “upgrade” to my Beyerdynamic DT1990s. I’ve tried many different headphones, mainly thanks to Amazon’s return policies but other retailers too. My price range was up to £2000. My source is a Naim Atom HE but I also use a Mojo2 and Dragonfly Cobalt. In the end my favourite open back headphones were the Anando Nano (actually my overall favourites for a one headphone solution were the Sony MDR-Z1R. But, unfortunately, these gave me incredible jaw/ear ache (TMDJ)). And I also bought a pair of Dan Clark Noire X as closed backs (£999), so coming in well under budget. The Anandos punch well above their weight and I much preferred them to the HifiMan Edition XS, Arya and 1000SE. I also tried Sennheiser 800S and 820s as well as other models from Shure, Beyerdynamic and Sennheiser. Although not fully adjustable they are very comfortable to wear for long sessions. They work very well with music and movies. Fantastic trebles, midrange and bass. Their transparency is excellent. I can’t think of a bad word to say about them. What’s very telling is that in the last 5 months I’ve listened to the Anandos almost exclusively and rarely worn the Dan Clark’s. Indeed the decision to buy the closed backs was a (expensive) mistake in hindsight although they look and feel amazing (and sound good too). My bottom line, buy pair of open back headphones unless you really need the isolation. Buy a pair of HifiMan Anando Nanos. They are a bargain at the current price (£389)👍.

DAC: iFi Nano Dsd ile test ettim ,80mV çıkışa rağmen rahat sürüyor. Direkt Laptop çıkışı yeterli gelmeyebilir. Zaten bu tarz bir kulaklığı DAC'sız kullanmak ayıp olur. Kulaklığın sahnesi çok geniş, frekanslar çok dengeli geliyor, basslar yeterli duyuluyor ve diğer frekansları bastırmıyor. Sub bass enerjisi hissediliyor. Tizler detaylı ve net, mid frekanslarda hafif sibiliance var gibi ama sanırım burn in suresi lazım ayrıca test ettiğiniz şarkı da önemli çünkü kulaklık kötü masterlanmış şarkıyı hemen belli ediyor. Allan Taylor - Colour to the moon parçası güzel bir referans. Bu şarkıda vokal çok güzel geliyor mesela. Dediğim gibi burn in suresinden sonra düzelir büyük ihtimal. Kulaklığın padleri büyük ve kulağınız içeriye giriyor yani kulağınızda bir pad baskısı yok. Konforlu. Enstruman ayrımları başarılı. Önceden dinlerken birbirine karışmış olarak duyduğunuz enstrumanları ayırabiliyorsunuz. Ürün malzemesi metal ve dayanıklı duruyor. Yanında hard case ile geliyor. Özetle premium ve highend sınıfında bir kulaklık. Tavsiye eder miyim? Evet. Pahalı mı? Bence bir kere alınacak ve on yıllarca kullanılacak bir ürün olduğu için almaya değer. Edit 1: Bir haftalık kullanım sonrası, kulaklığın sahnesi gerçekten çok iyi yani ortam ambiansını veriyor ve müziğin içine sizi sokuyor. Miks yapanlar için room algısını reverb yapısını çok iyi yakalıyorsunuz. Tam açık olduğu için kulaklık hava alıyor ve kulağınız ısınmıyor ama haliyle sesi dışarı veriyor. Bir de kulaklığı çıkarmadan müziği durdurduğunuzda kulaklık takmamış gibi dışarıyı duyabiliyorsunuz. Kulaklığı taktığınızda çıkarmak istemiyorsunuz. Edit 2: 1 yıldır keyifle kullanıyorum, en son chord mojo 2 dac e gectim gercekten mukemmel bir ikili oldular. Her frekansı referans seviyesinde sibiliance olmadan duyabiliyorsunuz.

En el rango de 400-460 euros, habiendo rondado casi el doble de su precio en el lanzamiento, estos auriculares de Hifiman son el auricular a comprar si hay dudas con el presupuesto de si gasto más o menos. Mejoran los Ananda originales y los Ananda Stealth, pero estos vienen con su funda rígida de viaje y, como todos los Hifiman de entrada y gama media, con el cable gomoso de 3.5 a las copas y 3.5 a fuente con adaptador de 6.3 mm para amplis y DACs. Suenan de escándalo conforme se sacan de la caja, ni caso a las películas que dicen que hay que hacerle el rodaje como si fuese un peugeot de gasóleo de los años 80. He leído por ahí que necesitan horas y horas. Por favor, no. Llevan los driver planares magnéticos Nano que se pueden ver en modelos superiores, los HE1000 y Arya. Funcionan de escándalo. Es la diferencia con los Ananda normales y los Stealth. El Ananda Nano lleva el driver mejorado. No sé si le interesaba a Hifiman meter un upgrade semejante en un modelo de 400 euros-460 euros, porque se queda muy cerquita en rendimiento sonoro a los modelos superiores. Otra cosa es el tema materiales, aquí hay plástico y metal y pocos accesorios, aunque bueno, viene la funda de viaje, qué ya está bien. Ojo, contad con que HAY QUE AMPLIFICARLOS. Aunque veáis impedancia de 14 ohms, la sensibilidad es bajísima, 94dB. Así que si queréis darle vida, necesitan electricidad. Una vez alimentados, van de escándalo. Todas las frecuencias, sin ecualizar a mi me valen, como los planares, admiten ecualización rápida y precisa. Pero vamos, cuatro pruebas que he hecho, al final los he dejado planos escuchando todo tipo de música. No he llegado a notar sibilancias en las frecuencias más agudas. Los drivers son rápidos y precisos, el escenario perfecto. Pero todo eso es Mis equipos son Fiio, K7 estacionario, en ganancia alta, al 50% volumen, sobrado. En M11 2+ como reproductor hires, ganancia media al 85% volumen a través de la salida 3.5mm, ganancia alta a 55-60% volumen. No he llegado a probarlo con cable balanceado completo, pero con adaptador pentacon/jack OFC y el propio cable de los auriculares, va perfecto igualmente. Con un dongle dac KA11 no y con un KA13 si, en modo escritorio sobrado pero baja la batería de la tablet/móvil. Tema ergonomía, puffff, es algo subjetivo. Yo calzo buen cabezón y me queda un poco justa la diadema de cuero. Pero menos mal que pedí este porque la diadema del edition xs, que es goma, me destrozaría la cabeza directamente. Conclusión: Es un auricular audiófilo que está justo en la entrada por sonido de los auriculares ya "serios". Por materiales no entra en esa clasificación, pero por sonido y tecnología sin duda. Ya la cuestión es elegir hasta dónde queréis gastaros; Sundara, menos dinero, 300 aprox, peor driver y sonido, distinto diseño; Edition XS un poquito menos aún, 250-280 (y peores materiales y ergonomía), o el Ananda Stealth que se acerca a los 400 por abajo. Pero vamos, merece mucho la pena.

Surprised by the clarity, detail, and bass compared to the Edition XS, the soundstage is more narrow, it's closer and more personal. Comfort wise, the ear caps are a bit smaller for a tighter fit, the headband is extremely comfortable, but the headphone clamp might be a bit too much for some people. Also, my pair of headphones has a minor production issue: the right ear is matte finish, while the left ear is glossy.

There are sounds I couldn’t hear before on my Razer headset while playing lossless music on Apple Music. Spatial sound on it is immersive for movies.
