We have several kids, and as each of them gets old enough, we buy them a chair for backpacking. Our old favorite off-brand backpacking chair has been revamped and now weighs 12 oz more, so we searched far and wide for an Amazon chair that would fit the bill & found these. Great weight, great price. The bag is longer than other bags, but as other reviewers note, you don't eve really need to bring the bag (although we did). Fits kids & adults (although the adults in our family are 5'10" and under). Super glad to have found this chair.

Definitely light weight and portable, but not as light as claimed. Also, compared to the Helinox chair 1, it is a smaller “fit”. I’m a fairly petitely built woman at 5’4” and 125lbs, and this chair worked fine for me, but is a bit snug. If my 5’10” muscle-y husband were to sit in it, I believe it may be a bit of a struggle to get him out of it. I’ll take a video of this if I can because I suspect it may be quite funny to witness! Now, the materials that the chair is made of are quite durable! It’s not made of carbon fiber, but the metal frame is great and very light weight. The mesh of the seat is stiff right now, but weighs nearly nothing and will probably last a good long time! This includes the reinforced corner pockets for the frame. It was easy to put together and I didn’t have to struggle to get the fabric on the frame. Judgement: For those who don’t have close to $200 to spend on a helinox, this is a great option. It’s still light enough that it’s worth backpacking with. Not ultralight, but close to it! For this price, absolutely worth it. I haven’t thoroughly tested yet BUT, just handling it and the materials, I feel confident in my assessment. The only reason why I gave it four stars is because it does weigh more than claimed. It is supposed to weigh in at 1.4lbs, but when I weighed it, it weighs closer to 1.7lbs. I bought 5 of these because last time I found a really light camping chair, an outdoor influencer discovered it a few months later and now it’s sold out and the price skyrocketed.

Well made chair and relatively light weight. It weighs under two pounds, even with the carrying sack. I believe the listed weight of 1.5 pounds is only the chair without the sack. Still, it's a good value for the price. If you want a chair that weighs slightly less than the Helinox One and costs a lot less, give this chair a try.

Super light and strong. High value for the money. Easy to install and manage.

It is on the small size but it definitely weighs less than 1.5 lbs probably closer to 1.3-1.4 lbs. for the price you can’t beat not beat this chair. I would be a little weary of the size of you’re a bigger person though. Great for having a chair deep into the back country.

On the product photos it says it weighs 1.48 lbs, I weighed it and it weighs 1 lb 12 oz (1.75 lbs). Not sure how they got 1.48 lbs, but it doesn't weigh that. Other than that the chair looks good. 1 star because they lied on the weight, can't do that when the selling point is the weight.

Decent chairs, though the shock cord on one of the legs has broken so I am trying to find out what cord size to replace it with. I'm 6'3", 210 lbs and it is comfy, as long as you don't try to sit facing up or side-hill. I've used these for backpack camping, and the weight is a plus. Rolls up nicely without the case.

Light and comfy. Lounges back more than my other similarly built camp chair. Good deal

Plastic connection parts at the legs. The photo shows metal mortise and tenon joints. I’ll give it a shot.
