Completely seamless OEM look, simple rearview mirror harness tap, and crystal-clear 4K video!
If you hate dangling cables, suction cups on your windshield, or tearing apart your A-pillars and fuse box just to install a dash cam, the Fitcamx is worth every penny. OEM Fit & Finish: Once installed, this looks entirely factory. It replaces the plastic shroud behind the auto-dimming rearview mirror and blends in so seamlessly that nobody would ever guess it's aftermarket. Plug-and-Play Installation: Tapping power directly into the rearview mirror harness using the included Y-splitter makes the front install a breeze. No cutting, splicing, or messy wire tucking down to the 12V socket or fuse box. Routing the rear camera cable along the headliner to the back glass was straightforward and tucks away cleanly. Video Quality: The front 4K (2160p) resolution is razor-sharp. License plates and street signs are clearly legible day or night, and the wide field of view covers edge-to-edge without heavy fisheye distortion. The rear 1080p camera provides crisp supplementary coverage out back. App & Wi-Fi: Connecting your phone to view or download clips via the Fitcamx app is smooth and reliable. It powers on and off automatically with the ignition, running loop recording in the background without any need to fuss with it. Hands-down the best dash cam solution for the F-150 / F-250 platform. A clean, professional, and discreet setup that does its job flawlessly! Only con is that is does vibrate with bass from the stereo at times. Need to add some foam tape or something to stop it.

Extremely Easy to Install and it looks OEM/ In Other words it looks like as it it came from Factory
Extremely easy to install and your Camera/In Vehicle looks as if it came from factory I got the 4K dual cam I installed it on my 2023 Ford F-150 Platinum I used the rear cam for cabin Next to the rear mirror and it came out fantastic You can barely tell that it’s there, and it records everything all the way to the rear of Behind the bed to all surroundings of windows, say you get pulled Over by PD all the interaction you have will be audio and filmed recorded . I will take video Over the weekend and will post to show how I installed it for those of you that might be interested in having this extra peace of mind also say you leave your Vehicle parked and someone try’s braking into it it records Basically the whole 190 degree angle from passenger driver’s windows all the way to behind the Bed . And it is very very clear you can read Other Vehicles lic’s plates with the front camera like from 10 O’clock to 3 O’clock so front and side's . Love it . Best camera I’ve ever purchased so far . I will definitely recommend this camera to others for the look of OEM and the way it records.

Easy to install/Works well
I read about this product in an F150 Facebook group and counted on the fact that everyone said it's easy to install. As one of the least handy folks on the planet, that was essential. 100% accurate. I was able to install it quickly, easily and without a lot of second-guessing. And it works very well. Note: I had to turn off my car play connection in order to see the real time display on my phone; Not really an issue because I don't watch my phone while I drive, nor do I need to. Accessing and downloading video clips is easy and intuitive.

Didn't work when I needed it most.
First of all, installation was a dream on my brand new Ford Raptor. Phone up connected easily, watched video, quality and access was great - you'd think it was perfect? Well, think again. Last night I was on a 3 lane interstate and when I tried to change lanes, a car racing along approx 110mph zipped in. I hadn't left my lane completely yet, so I just eased back to center but what I didn't see was the racer on the other side of the car thinking he could take my lane and he hit my vehicle, overcorrected, and spun 360 degrees several times before flying in the air and landing in a ditch. Many folks pulled over. The left side racer had just kept speeding and never saw him again. The right hand speeder pretended not to speak English, got angry when I took a cell phone photo of his license plate, and when I went to walk back to my truck, he and his passenger jumped into their bashed in vehicle and fled the scene. 3 State Troopers show up, and I "know" I have video.... NOPE! The FITCAM settings are set up to overwrite the oldest video to continually record. That did not happen. When the SD card became full, it stopped recording. There is NO video evidence. Obviously, this defeats the entire purpose of spending this much money to carry an eye witness in case something like this would happen. On a very, very positive note, I had the presence of mind to have taken a cell phone photo of the plate of the guy that actually hit me, AND - of all the blessings - he actually hit my massive rear truck tire and the "bounce" from that sent him sailing.... other than a wheel alignment, I think I'm very, very, VERY blessed to walk away from this mess fairly unscathed. I will contact FITCAM and will update my review pending their support response to this, but right now, I am VERY VERY upset about having put my trust in this particular camera. I have many dash cams and I am not an unfamiliar user. This is a horrible experience. BEWARE or at least BE AWARE.

Pretty Good Unit
After being told that I have to go into an office to work again since working from home for 15 years, I decided to invest in a dash cam for my hour-long commute. I found this one and liked that the front camera looked OEM and was hidden by the rear view mirror. I opted for the dual camera version but didn't think about the side curtain and side pillar airbags that would make running the cable to the rear camera a challenge. I took it to a professional installer to run the cable, but did all the setup myself. The connection between my phone and the camera's Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. So far I have a couple of issues - the front camera has this yellowish-green tint to everything, and playback in the app was choppy (after downloading the video, playback was smooth.) Downloading videos to my phone was a bit of a challenge as well; they're one-minute clips and very large in file size. The first time I tried to download a clip, it failed; however, it worked the 2nd time. I contacted support about the yellow/green tint issue and am currently working through some troubleshooting steps. I will update the review if I'm able to eliminate that problem. All in all, the way it stands today, the camera does what it's supposed to do and I really like the OEM look. Hoping I can get the off-color video fixed.
