Hello. OGX is not a cruelty free brand. I only found that out after purchasing this shampoo. They themselves, and their third party supplier tests on animals.

Is it good for type 2a hair?

Hello! I would say it would be absolutely fine for type 2a hair. My friend has type 2a hair and she also uses this product and was the one to recommend it to me.
