This moisturizing gel is very light weight and unscented. It feels like I'm not wearing anything except my face isn't dry or tight. My skin is on the drier side and my husband's is a little more oily. This works for us both, however there was a day or two when I felt I needed a heavier moisturizer due to the dry climate. This is so light weight that on those days, I used this product first for the nice ingredients, and then another moisturizer on top of that. It does not feel extra heavy or greasy when I do that. I needed a lightweight not greasy moisturizer for wearing under makeup and the sunscreens I use. These products can be waterproof and contain dimethicone for slip which can feel a bit greasy. But when I use CeraVe Ultra light moisturizing gel, my foundation and sunscreens are way less slippery on my face. This will be my go to moisturizer under makeup. This gel also has some nice ingredients. Niacinamide helps with breaking up melanin clusters from sun damage and malasma. Mine have already faded a great deal after only a few weeks of using it. It has ceramides to help with your skin barrier and it has hyaluronic acid for hydration. I trust the CeraVe brand and use a variety of their products. This one is a keeper.

When I tell you this moisturizer is the bees knees, I mean it. I have sensitive, combo skin that is acne prone and very red. Thick moisturizers tend to make my skin even more irritated. This is a light light, non-greasy formula that is gentle and well absorbed. It goes on light and wet, maybe a little tacky, but dissipates quickly. It worked very well on bare skin and under makeup. I have used this for YEARS and will not switch. My only complaint is the cost for product amount. I can never tell when its about to run out.

Lo compré pensando que era la versión americana del oil control y aunque no es igual, sigue siendo un producto igual de bueno para mi piel mixta con tendencia al acné. Su textura es muy ligera y se absorbe muy rápido, si bien no queda un acabado mate, el brillo no es excesivo y da más bien un aspecto saludable. Personalmente prefiero la crema oil control, pero no será un problema terminar ésta o incluso comprarla nuevamente para la temporada de invierno que tiende a resecarse más la piel.
