The powder is really flavorful and yummy. The bottles are bigger then expected as well. I'm not sure why so many reviews say the powder isn't sour because it absolutely is!! The bad reviews almost talked me out of getting these but I'm glad they didn't.

Delicious but be careful and don't eat so much of the artificial ingredients. But definitely what I wanted to dip grapes in! Will burn your taste buds and tongue if you over do it.

Dyes the insides of our cups, and the powder doesn’t mix well into liquids. Not sour. Will not buy again.

Was so excited to find this sour powdery stuff. I’d looked into making something similar sour sugar after trying it on frozen grapes. I love sour candy. And thought something like this would also make a great rimmer for drinks. So this was exactly what I was looking for, and in an assorted package. I found it difficult to decide on which set to order, since each set didn’t include all the flavors. I wanted to order a bunch and opted for a smaller, single assorted package. It had four flavors/ colors of powder shakers. When I got the set, i was perplexed to find they were much smaller than I expected. They were like tiny plastic salt shaker like and sized containers. They cost way more than I expected based on what I got. I expected the containers were at least 3 times the size, if not 10x larger. Each powder did have a slightly different flavor. There were not sweet, not overly sour if at all. Some colors were better than the other, tho none tasted like what they were labeled. The flavor was weird or there was an odd unpleasant aftertaste, could be attributed to the coloring, idk. So that was disappointing enough to make our use go from an all the time thing to pretty much never. Unfortunately, it didn’t work on a rim for drinks because of the aftertaste. it was also very difficult to get it to stick to a rim since any moisture that hits the powder beads up and almost repels the liquid. The containers/ shakers broke for a couple of the flavors, or the flip top snapped off. So the tops definitely could be stronger or better. Idk, was fun to try and fail. My husband ate a full container on the couch watching tv, and then regretted it cause sour makes your tongue rough and painful. Enjoy with caution

I wasn't sure what I'd do with this when I bought it, but we sprinkle it on fruit before freezing it, and it makes the best sour "candy" snack at a fraction of the price of the popular brand. Colors will stain your fingers and mouth though!
