AZATOM Freedom PRO HE7s - Premium Over Ear Headphones. Professional studio sound quality for Music in High-Definition.

I bought these headphones about 1 month ago to and have allowed them to 'burn in' before posting a review. I also bought them as an alternative to the Takstar HI 2050 which are great headphones in terms of sound quality but suffer with sound leakage, so I wanted headphones with good isolation. To be honest I wasn't really sure what to expect. There were a few reviews posted and they were all favourable so I decided to give them a go. Wow, theses are amazing headphones for the money! The sound isolation is very good, this is because my ears fit inside the earcups and they mold very well to my head. The headband is adjustable so again helps to clamp to my head, but are very comfortable. I've not had any complaints about sound leakage so far. The sound quality is very good, in particular the sound stage which is wide and spacious. The mid and treble are detailed and not too bright. The bass is slightly soft but this has improved after burning in and the overall sound is very pleasing. Well worth £39.99

Reading some of the reviews on here that mention sound leakage, just okay sound etc must be reviewing the wrong headphones? I cannot comment on the blue tooth set but the wired set are absolutely fantastic! I paid £40 for these and they are better than Beats headphones which cost quadruple the price? The separation of instruments is very good, tight punchy bass, excellent mid tones and high end. There is NO sound leakage whatsoever? They are very comfy and come in a lovely carbon fibre effect carry case. Well done Azatom, excellent product for an excellent price!

These headphones are great closed headphones on a budget. I'll be comparing these to the Sennheiser HD 595 (open), the Superlux HD-330 Semi-Open Dynamic Audiophile Headphones (Black) (semi) and the Monoprice Premium Hi-Fi DJ Style Over Ear Pro Headphone (closed). Comfort wise i would say they sit somewhere in the middle of the HD595's which completely surround your ear without touching your ear at all, and the 8323's which sort of make contact with your ear all the way around. I find the 8323s highly uncomfortable which i why i do not use them. The HD 595's on the other hand are probably the most comfortable headphone i have ever listened to. The PRO-HE7's are comfortable, though i will say if you have large ears these are possibly not for you as they do make contact with the back of your ear. They make a good seal and isolate noise quite well. Clamping is about spot on. They're not going to fall off your head but they're not going to clamp your hear into a new shape either. The build quality i would say is good though not high end good; they are made as well as any pair of beats (yuck) i have ever seen. They are a light headphone and they fold up quite small and come with a cary case, which is a nice addition. They come with 2 cables one is a flat 3.5mm and one is a flat 3.5mm with a 3button control and mic, both of which appear to be of decent quality. Sound quality... This is a tricky one as sound quality is subjective. They are good, very good infact. my preference is an open headphone as i like to addition of a larger sound stage. These PRO-HE7's do a really good job for a closed headphone, much better then the Superlux HD-330's which are open! Nicely balanced sound with a slight bias towards the low end. Great mids and crystal clear highs really cant fault these for their price. Positional audio is also really good, played a few hours is games such as CSGO and Arma3 and sounds were spot on with a really nice punch to them. Not sure how many will make use of this but i thought I'd chuck it in. EDIT- After some time one of the earpads started to make a strange air suction type sound which ruined the sound isolation.

Comfortable fit, but did not like the sound

Comfortable to wear, sleek look and quality sound. These headphones are definitely worth the price. They are comfortable on the ears and head, with stability. They have a smooth feel on the surface and soft padding on the head and ears. As well as the adjustable headband and ability to be foldable. The bass and treble sound quality is crystal clear and fits the purpose for why I purchased these headphones. They also have great compatibility and functionality with the ability to simply connect and play. Also including the built in microphone for phone calls. I would without any doubt, recommend these headphones in every aspect, especially for the comfort and sound quality.

Update: I'm updating my review below as the new model is very different from the old model. My old HE7 pair broke (the cable inside the headband broke so the left cup stopped working) so I ordered the new HE7s. The looks and the build quality have improved a fair bit in areas that make sense. The folding hinges are now metal instead of plastic, the cable inside the headband looks a lot betrer than on the old ones and the 3.5mm plug is now flush with the cup so you can plug any cable in it. But the good things end here. Because of the new design the comfort is really not there anymore. The earcups are way smaller and not exactly over ear. The way they sit on your head is completely different. The headband is not very well padded which is not that big of a deal because most of the wheight actually falls on your ears. Because of that they feel heavy and uncomfortable. The sound is still there, it's very similar to the old ones but the pads are really thin and the drivers sit closer to your ears and the sound is more in your face and it's louder and sharper but not in a good way. Oh and good luck finding any pads that can fit on them... The top of the headband is mostly plastic now so you can't really bend it to change the comfort. They ended up sitting in their nice case and not being used so I can't really recommend them anymore. I heve them for a couple of weeks now and i simply love them. The sound is balanced (no exageration on lows or highs) and that is what i was looking for. They are very comfortable, fit perfectly over my ears and just feel right. They feel lite but sturdy and the build quality is great. Noise isolation is good enogh for me. I mean it's not excelent (noises could be heard at very low volumes and there is sound leakage at high volumes) but it is decent and it fits my usage so no complaints. The detachable cable is a nice bonus feature. If the cable breaks you just buy a new one and you're good. They are also foldable and you get a nice travel case with them. At this price point you get so much for your money that I realy don't think there is anything that can beat them.

These headphones are comfortable with superb sound quality. They come with 2 leads one with a line microphone and another just for the music. The leads have 2 jacks one at each end that plug in. Making the life of the product last a lot longer. I have already gone through the first cable and would have had to throw away the headphone if it was not for the lead with 2 jacks. It was simple to replace and they still work superbly. My only minor gripe is after 1 year and 4 months of almost daily use for long periods of time. I have worn the ear pads. The lining on the ear covers is starting to peel away. They say it is leather but I am not convinced now that is starting to peel away. It does not take away the comfort of the headphone no the sound quality. The cost of replacing the ear pads to the same standard seems to cost more than the headphones. So I am debating whether to buy new pads because I have worn them out or just get a new pair of these. Which I probably will do because they are so good. Even with the worn ear pads this product is 5 star for me. I know how many hows I have worn these and constantly pulled them off and put them on again. I have never had an issue with the comfort even after hours and hours. Unlike other headphones that make your ears sore.

A lovely headphones set that is more than able to handle the range of sound presented. I have plugged it into both me smart phone and stereo amp with great sound response. I've also plugged me Avantree Saturn Pro bluetooth device which manage to cut the background hiss to a slightly noticeable one. I've owned a set of Blaupunkt DJ 112 set of headphones for the past 6 years and the Azatom He7s is as good but the bass on the Azatom comes through more balanced without dominating it. I own an Azatom UFO 16w speaker and have bought a girl friend of mine the pink Azatom Droid which both gave an outstanding sound quality, together with great innovative design. I would easily and without hesitation highly recommend these pair of headphones in all respects, including ear and comfort of wear, plus it's compatibility 👍😆

Avevo giusto bisogno di rimpiazzare delle cuffie Sony vecchie di 10 anni, dato che erano ancora funzionanti e il gatto ha tranciato il cavo di una delle due cuffie, non avevo intenzione di spendere di più di quanto spesi 10 anni fa. Cerco tra vari modelli di marchi più o meno blasonati, alla fine mi salta l’occhio su queste Azatom. Ciò che mi ha convinto è stato che ad un prezzo simile a quello di marchi conosciuti, queste sono pieghevoli e sembravano più rifinite, eleganti, solide e inoltre era l’unica a dare insieme alle cuffie due cavetti di cui uno con auricolare e la custiodia. Arrivate regolarmente, si presentano in una scatola con garanzia ufficiale e volantino di altri prodotti, già all’interno della custodia. E devo dire meglio di quello che mi aspettavo, design elegante, robuste, comode. Unica pecca che vengono vendute come over ear ma rispetto le mie vecchie over ear (dove le orecchie entravano completamente dentro la cuffia) queste sono leggermente più piccole quindi buona parte poggia sulle orecchie. Aspetto che viene subito in secondo piano appena il suono pulito, i bassi e la quasi totale assenza di rumori esterni cominciano a farsi sentire. Sicuramente il mercato offrirà di meglio, ma non in questa fascia di prezzo. A questo prezzo valgono ogni singolo centesimo, anche qualcosa in più

Un produit très bien emballé et reçu à la date prévue(même un jour avant!)!Un excellent rapport qualité prix:j'ai eu des casques qui ont coûtaient 100€ et qui avaient un son moins bon que celui-ci!Sans compter que le casque est solide et confortable!Le tout est livré dans une belle housse noire sobre pratique pour ranger le casque!
