Great ball for fetch-loving dogs with joint issues
I’ve been using this ball with my dog for a few years now and overall I’m really impressed. It’s incredibly light, which makes it easy to throw and much gentler when caught. Unlike some other balls, it doesn’t bounce too high — a big plus for my 8yo boxer dog where I'm cautious of joint issues, as it keeps the playtime active but low-impact. One of the best features is the open, breathable design. My dog has no trouble breathing while carrying it around, even when he's a bit overexcited during play. It’s also compatible with our Chuckit launcher which is handy. Bear in mind you won't be able to throw it far because it's hollow. Durability-wise, it's held up well with normal fetch sessions, but I did notice that if my dog starts pulling at it or playing rough tug games, the material can tear. So I’d recommend it for supervised play rather than as a chew toy. All in all, a great option if you’re looking for a lightweight, joint-friendly ball that’s safe and easy for your dog to carry around. Just don’t let them use it as a chew toy!

Great balls ! Dogs love em
These are such great balls. The way they have been designed is so that air flows through them when your dog has them in their mouths. My dogs love playing ball. Normally with an ordinary ball they can hardly breath with the whole ball in their mouths. But the chuckit balls are soft and allows are to pass through. Very happy. Happy to recommend.

Voted 5* by the dog!
When this ball arrived, I nearly threw it straight in the bin. It felt very flimsy, was smaller than I thought it would be, and I thought it was a waste of money. My dog can destroy the sturdiest of balls in a matter of minutes, so I thought it might be best just to throw this away rather than give it to her on Christmas Day and then see her disappointed face as I wrestle the bits away from her which she will never see again. Fortunately, I decided to let her have her 2 minutes of fun with it and she got it Christmas morning, and despite getting other toys this was by far her favourite. I was very surprised to see it still in one piece after half an hour of chewing. After 3 days of trying to destroy it, the dog gave up with that and started playing with it instead. Now, 2 months later, the ball is still intact and is still chewed/played with on a daily basis. I will definitely be getting another one.

Great ball but not suitable for chewers!
My cocker spaniel is ball mad. He loved the traditional solid Chuckit balls however I came across a video shared by a veterinary practice of them saving the life of a dog who had a solid ball lodged in its throat. The video was pretty disturbing and although the dog made it, it was touch and go. So I decided to look for a ball that if it were to get stuck down my dogs throat he could still breathe. Having introduced him to these balls he now no longer is interested in any other ball - he loves them!. It allows him to breathe as he runs, they reduce the ingestion of sand and sea water at the beach. It's soft on his teeth when he catches it and it's light. Works well in a ball thrower and it floats. All great - however they don't last long and they are expensive. The last couple of balls I purchased lasted a couple of months and then started to break so not great for the environment and I wouldn't leave a chewer alone with this ball... Hope this helps!

The clue is in the name - Breath Easy Chuckit! Ball
In response to all the reviews criticising this product for being too easily destroyed… As the name suggests, the purpose of this product is not to be an indestructible chew toy, it is designed to allow unrestricted breathing during play. For this reason, this ball is amazing. There are many other balls in the Catchit! range for incorrigible chewers, for example, the Ultra or Rugged models. The Breath Easy ball is particularly ideal for brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds, such as pugs, Frenchies, Boston Terriers, Boxers and Bulldogs. Their short snouts can make them prone to breathing issues. Playing fetch with a solid ball, like a tennis or Ultra Catchit! ball can exacerbate breathing conditions. They can’t get enough air in through their noses, when they’re exerting themselves and their mouths are full, causing some to overheat, vomit, or even have seizures. My Boston Terriers are both ball-obsessed. While they don’t have particularly short snouts or suffer from any medical conditions, we have to take solid balls away from them after a while, as their breathing starts to sound like a couple of runaway steam trains! The Breath Easy Catchit! balls are lightweight because they are hollow with a soft, cut out, squidgy rubber exterior. They are good quality, have excellent bounce:weight ratio, can be used with ball launchers, are easy to throw, find and clean, and best of all they allow your dog to breath freely while carrying it. Ours love them so much we’ve recently invested in a few more, both small and medium sized, with small and medium Catchit! launchers to extend the range of distances we are able to achieve. Although the range isn’t cheap, it’s not too expensive either. I feel it still represents good value for money as all the products we’ve had are hard-wearing, long-lasting, and made with good quality materials. You get what you pay for. If your dog is an avid chewer, give them suitable chew toys to satisfy that need. Keep the Breath Easy ball for when you are actively engaging with your dog (we play a lot of fetch, or hide and seek with ours). Put it away when you’re finished and this ball will not only last, but will become a firm favourite. Over the years we’ve owned pretty much every kind of Chuckit! ball, and we’ve not had to discard a worn out one yet, but we have lost a fair few! I can highly recommend Chuckit! products in general and the Breath Easy ball in particular.

Dogs favourite toy!
I have a French bulldog with a very very strong prey/chase/destroy drive. Tennis balls only last ten minutes in these jaws. Also with his breathing issues (due to his breed) running with a tennis ball in his mouth was problematic. He even developed the habit of carrying them to the side when running, as you can see in one of the photos. Note he does not need to do this with these balls as the design allows air to pass through the ball, #brilliant. When out in the park he prefers to run with them fully in his mouth and can still breath freely. In a bid to help with his breathing I purchased these last November. Have to say hands down best thing I've done since adopting this mutt. He simply loves them to the point of obsession. He will play till tired, sit and chew on them till really tired, then take them to bed with him and snuggle with them as he sleeps. They are roughly the same size as a standard tennis ball (maybe a tad smaller) so fit into a standard ball thrower stick also in photos (I purchased a ball sized to suit what I had) we haven't looked back since. They are still going strong some five months later with only a few little nicks and tears. He is a very heavy chewer but these survive. The only other items that have survived his treatment have been heavy duty Kong toys (but they don't lend themselves to being thrown around in the park) So, in summary, if you have a small destructive animal like this one who struggles to breath when carrying a tennis ball these are the toy for you. Cannot fault them, definitely recommend, 10/10.

Dogs Love It
My dogs, all sizes, have used this product for years. The lattice-like structure makes it easy to carry as they have lots of gripping surfaces. However this is not for heavy chewers, it’s a ball, not a chew toy.

Pue le parfum artificiel
La balle sent terriblement fort une sorte de parfum très artificiel... J'espère que ça s'estompera, mais là, ça pue vraiment...

Great balls
Bought these as "indoor" balls. They seem just as durable (if not more) as "normal" chuck-it balls. They are very light and silent, which makes them better for indoors. Outdoors they are harder to throw far, but they go far enough with a thrower. Still, I stick to normal balls for outdoors (or the whistlers). Highly recommend.

Gömmer kycklingbitar i den åt min chihuahua
