My den area had a history of a toilet clog and things got flooded to an extreme. I obviously fixed the issue, however I am not taking further risks because in the event any flood happens, I want to know about it as soon as possible to address it before water gets everywhere. I got these leak detectors and they are excellent. Setting them up took several minutes, but the directions are clear and easy to understand. You get three detectors which I put throughout my house, and of course my den toilet area. I tested them out by putting a drop of water, and it beeped loud and sent an email and a text message to my phone. I really liked this. Definitely would recommend this to anyone who wants a more proactive approach to avoid water damage.

Purchased this after a tiny leak in the utility room. Replaced several pipes and well pressure tank to be proactive. 3 days after I put these around the house, one of the brand new pipe fittings failed and set off the water leak detector alarm. In the 4 mins between the start of the flood and when I could finally get the well pump shut off, more than 100 gallons of water had flooded my basement. If I hadn't had this water leak detector, I shudder to think of the damage that would've occurred. This simple item saved me literally tens of thousands of dollars in damage. Everyone I know is getting this it for Christmas this year!! So grateful for the effectiveness of this item and my sheer timely luck that I had it before disaster struck.

It’s a good product and I tested it. I like the app which would give a warning if you are away. The only problem is that when the alarm goes on and no one is home to turn it off.

I bought this as a precaution for detecting leaks in my home, I placed one under my hot water heater, one under my kitchen sink next to the dishwasher and one next to my washing machine in my laundry room. Three days later my washing machine had a leak and the alarm sounded which allowed enough time to turn of the machine and clean up the water before it could do serious damage on our wooden floors. The us a must have for home owners or apartment dwellers.

There is no such manufacturer. There is no online manual or help. Does not connect to Google Home. Will not notify you via text if there is a water leak unless you pay. Will not even REPEAT alerts from the app unless you pay. You get one notification that disappears... that's it. Complete junk. I do not feel comfortable at all that it's protecting my home from a flood. All features are paid.

I had to get an exchange on this product because one of the three detectors did not work right out of the box. Now, the second set all work with the hub supplied. They provided no information on setting it up to use with Alexa, they simply say that it does. They tell you to use the smart life app, which I got and was able to set the three sensors up with the hub unit. Testing each unit worked fine to the hub. I made sure the smart life skill was enabled on the Alexa, but when I test any of the alarms I get no notification from Alexa. Since they provided no instructions for setting up the unit to use Alexa I cant definitively say whether it can work with Alexa.
