We have lots of rabbits and chickens so we have to build cages quite often. We wouldn’t be able to build the cages without these things. Works great but hard to clamp in 1/4” or smaller rabbit cages. Lots of clips and pliers work as they should. We have several pairs of these and they are a must have but building cages and doing floors in chicken houses.

I am a tool junky, the good stuff. these seem to be made really well. Not overly tight. Adjustable if you know how to adjust lineman pliers. metal looks top rate. Handles are hard and remind me of a dewalt tool.

The clips are good and the pliers seems to be fairly well made. My issue was just getting the hang of putting the clips on. Direction matters, and in some cases you need to crimp the clip a bit or the teeth won't roll. Once you get the hang of it they work fine when attaching two pieces of 1x2 inch 16ga wire. Not convinced they'd work with 14ga, or anything smaller than an inch.

For assembling a cage or something similar with wire mesh, this set works great. It has all the items needed to attach sides together. The other popular option is to use hog rings. That option seems to be a little cheaper per ring and it is a little quicker per clamp made. But the rings are much looser after connected. This could be a good thing if you want something to move. But there is something that feels a bit better when the joined sides don't wiggle. I personally like this type of clamp much better for building cages and such.

Needed to wire chicken wire together. Works great, easy to install with wrench that was included.

This product is hard to make it work.

We used these to connect our chicken run fencing panels together. This will definitely prevent predators from getting into our birds. They are a little small for handling with old fingers, but I used pliers to hold the clips in place while I crimped them. They hold very good when properly applied.
