Great little item to send audio to. Especially good for when FM signal gets lost on long journeys. Simply find the required station on a phone, connect, and voilà! Whatever you want to hear can now be played through the car stereo system.

This product plugged straight into the aux, connected to my Bluetooth first time, sound quality is excellent, and it's one less cable I need to have in my car. Excellent little gadget, exactly what I needed!

Everything worked fine, it was dead simple to learn and install. The sound is perfect, I don't agree with one reviewer who said it wasn't perfect. Bluetooth will deliver a very high quality sound. I have just one thing I'm not sure about, there were two incidents of radio interference on the first long (3-4 hours) journey. Possibly, probably, this is inevitable with a smartphone bluetoothing to this little adaptor, but it's a shock, and with my old wired connection, it never happened. So you might look into this topic, but my feeling is it's no fault of the HVMLAK adapter, I think it works fine, but you may get blasted once in a while. Just hitting the 'off' button on the car stereo stops the problem, then switch back on.

Perfect for old car stereos with AUX port only. Good value for money.

While the incoming sound quality and features were top notch, the microphone left a lot to be desired.And since the microphone was a must need for me I couldn't rate this any higher.Back to the drawing board to find something like this that actually has a good microphone and incoming sound quality.

This is a bluetooth receiver, so it accepts (wireless) input from your phone, and sends it (wired) to the speaker of your choice.In most cases that will be the aux-input of your car, but you can get it to work with any number of other devices using various audio adaptors.Using a stereo audio coupler, I was able to get it working with a pair of wired headphones, also with my bluetooth transmitting TV, and with a stereo speaker system. It does work with anything which can accept an audio input.Setup is simple... You switch the device on with the button, and then on your phone connect to 'HVMLAK Link' in the list of available bluetooth devices. It will connect, and the audio automatically goes to that connected device. When the device is seen the next time, it should connect automatically. It works using the built-in battery, and it also works while the device is plugged in & charging. If the USB is not connected & charging, the battery life should be about 6 hours.I was fairly impressed with the quality of the audio. It had good clarity and stereo separation, and was a little bit better than my other bluetooth receiver. Microphone quality was good as well.This is a good choice for car stereos which don't have bluetooth built-in. It is not quite so good a choice for headphones or TVs, as you need a stereo coupler to get it to work. In fairness, the listing says it is not compatible with these uses, so judging based on those things is not fair. It does what it is designed to do well. It is compact, and good looking. The price is reasonable.

Electronically, this seems to be the same as all of the other low cost Bluetooth adapters. The sound quality is good but not perfect, but definitely good enough for a car stereo where there is road noise ect.The case is nice and neat and compact.

Works well. For the small size and low price, expect a small battery with short life. I'm using it to add Bluetooth to an older car with Aux-in, so will keep its USB plugged in. I'm attaching a scan of the manual, since I couldn't find it online as a download.
