life saver, 24x49 window, doubled up
In my apartment the windows open outward like a book, and the mesh screen is on the inside. You gotta do what you gotta do. Without this product, the hot air kept blowing back in so that the portable AC wasn't as effective as it should be. I bought two of these and placed them side by side. I velcroed the border of the window, and I also used extra velcro to hold the two fabrics together down the middle of the window. I put the exhaust through one of the zippers and everything else is velcroed tight. I can see and feel the temp going down. Must have it if you have my type of windows and need to use a portable AC. Just don't forget to open the window every time you use the AC.

Vent seal is just what I needed
I’m very pleased with this seal. It was so easy for me to install. Thanks for the warranty! I think it will last for quite a while although it faces the south and will get dry from the sun eventually. If it fails you promise to replace so that’s what I like too!! Increase .ml on thickness of material and product would last substantially longer

do not recommend at all
I don't recommend this at all. it provides no insulation and after about a month of hot weather, the glue on the back of Velcro dried out and the Velcro strips fell off leaving a hard melted on residue.

Pretty neat, but not perfect
It works and the Velcro is very durable. The system managed to seal up an 8” exhaust vent 97% of the way. Small areas of leakage even with cinched down zip ties but from what I could tell rain would have some trouble getting in. I used it for a crypto mining exhaust and the material could handle the heat / weight of the exhaust vent. However the fabric is pretty thin and transparent. A lot of light, and temperature can pass through pretty easily. I think it is a perfect solution in a pinch but long term I would maybe look into a more permanent product
