"Cheap" meets good, but so for absolutely blows any harbor fright welder out of the water.
The only downside to this welder is the way you hook up gas is a little odd the hose just gets hose clamped, I've tried everything except stick and the plasma cutter and everything seems to work pretty dang good even on 120v so far doesn't get hot, no issues with any buttons. And actually like the way the display is set up just no real instructions. And a metal thickness to Amp diagram on the machine would be nice for us new guys.

Dont buy Simder - @ARCAPTAN OR @YESWELDER - HIT ME UP IF NEW CUSTOMER
Wow… where do I even start. Boughtt my simder less than a week ago and there's 0 recent 2026 reviews of this product so im the first to help you avoid not the product but the company..... First I received my “new” 2026 Simder 10-in-1 4050 Pro welder with a damaged box and parts missing. Amazon has actually been great through all of this and sent me another one within 2 days. But Simder as a company? Terrible experience so far. At this point I’m honestly starting to question what kind of company is actually backing this product. The welder is still being sold under basically the same exact name it was in 2023, but neither of the TWO machines I received have a serial number anywhere on them. I asked Simder through their website about the serial number. It took days to get a response and they told me they would “check with the engineers.” Never heard anything back. Asked about the warranty… nothing. Asked how I’m supposed to register the machine so I can join their private/locked Facebook community… nothing. Their customer support phone number was listed one day, but when I called it the number was out of service. Then I randomly get a call from a California number. I look the number up and it shows Simder. I call it back… NUMBER OUT OF SERVICE. Seriously?? I’ve tried to be nice. I’ve tried to be patient. But I can’t trust a company when I can’t get basic answers about a serial number, warranty, registration, or even get ahold of a real person. Thankfully I’m still well within my 30 day Amazon return window. So @ARCCAPTAIN or @YESWELDER — either of you want a new customer? 😂 Because at this point I’m dine with the fly by night company time to send the 10 in none back and buy from a company that actually answers their customers. Hit me up. I’ll buy my welder from you. Simder, this has been ridiculous. A welder can have all the features in the world but if the company disappears when you need support, what good is it??

Great product, but little info
Have been using it for about a month now for MIG welding, and it's a great performer. Too bad it comes with very skimpy instructions, leaving you to figure it out its intricacies on your own, and doesn't have the usual chart of voltage settings for different types and thickness of metal.
