I have quite a few potted plants, and keeping them watered consistently can be a challenge, especially during hot weather or when I’m away from home. This kit took a lot of the stress out of plant care. The setup was surprisingly simple, and I really like that it comes with enough tubing and drippers for multiple pots. The different watering modes make it easy to adjust the schedule based on what my plants need, and the anti-siphon valve is a nice feature because it prevents unwanted dripping after the pump shuts off. One of my favorite things is that it’s solar-powered, so I don’t have to worry about running extension cords or replacing batteries constantly. The separate solar panel design also lets me keep the panel in direct sunlight while placing the controller in a shaded spot, which is a thoughtful touch. Sounds like a really great idea. Unfortunately the unit is complete and total cr@p. I got it all hooked up according to instructions. When I manually turn it on (I chose the mode of 5 minutes every 12 hours timing) the system turns on and delivers (some) water. The pump starts up and the drippers start to (barely) drip, some water comes out, the soil gets slightly wet. The big failing of this system is that the output tube is a very small diameter, so by the time you put in enough 1-in/2-out splitters to divert water to the next pot there is so little water going through the tubes it's pathetic. Then at the end of the feeder tubes you're expected to plug in what they call 'drippers' which to my eye basically block up the tubes' ends. Very little dripping water makes it out. I mean, did they even test this thing before it went out the door?! When the pump is on, you can feel a vibration in both the intake hose and the outlet hose, so at least you know things are "working" (the system is on, for what that's worth). You can see a few water droplets coming out of the outlet hoses. Unfortunately that's the very last time any water ever comes out. Sure enough, 12 hours later, the system turns on, but absolutely nothing happens. There's a blue light on the 12-hours/5-mins mode selection (seemingly good) but there is no water being delivered. No vibration in the intake or output hoses. No dripping. Only the blue mode light illuminates. Turn it off, turn it back on again, and it starts up and the tubes vibrate as usual and the slight water dribbling commences. So it'll "work" only when you manually turn it on, not when it wakes up on its schedule! This happens on each of the 2 systems I purchased. Both of them! Two duds? Yikes! It's a good idea very poorly implemented.

I really like this watering system. It was pretty easy to set up, and I like that it runs on solar power. It's really convenient for keeping my plants watered without having to do everything by hand. The hose is a good length, and I was able to arrange it easily around my pots. I also like having different watering modes to choose from. It's a great option if you have several plants on a patio or balcony. So far, it has worked really well, and I'm happy with the purchase.

does anyone know the diameter of the hose? im hoping to find a spray tip rather than a drip tip that this unit comes with, this unit is working great, i have the solar panel sitting under LED grow lamps and unit is staying charged, thank you

This was the first purchase for a system like this: a green, non-digital programmer that is separate from the solar panel. I'm just going to leave a similar review for the other unit I bought after this, but it ISN'T a FAKE REVIEW just because the reviews are almost identical. The units are almost exactly the same, just sold under different brand names. AnseTo and Lewisia, and I'm lazy so I'll just make changes to what's different between the two: I bought this after a nightmare situation with another pump unit that had a combo control panel/solar panel. I don't want to jinx it, but this works like a dream, especially after experiencing a combo unit! The first unit I bought was a combo unit (the solar panel and programmer in one unit), which looked much more sophisticated and modern, but was a beautifully designed piece of garbage that broke almost immediately, and its replacement was even worse! The whole situation was a nightmare, and I'm so happy I took a chance on this. This looks less sophisticated, but its design is so much more reliable and less problematic! Sometimes simple is just BETTER!!! 1: The control panel and solar panel are separate, so you can place the solar panel anywhere you need it to charge, and place the programmer panel wherever is most convenient to get to. If you try a combo unit, you'll see what a headache that can be, so keep that in mind! 2. It holds a charge for a long time, so the pump works even on overcast days. 3: The watering stakes water under the top surface of the soil, so water isn't wasted, and the reservoir needs to be filled less often, which also means your plants are less susceptible to fungal infections and fungus gnats! The AnseTo unit's water stakes are super easy to put into the tubes, the Lewisia was more difficult, and some water stakes broke trying to get them in, but the setup was so easy and straightforward for both, regardless. 4: This unit can be expanded. I bought an extension kit and added 6 extra watering stakes to each of my units, and they both handle it with no issues. That's 21 watering strikes per unit. I need to refill my watering reservoir more often, but I'm no longer spending my entire mornings before work watering my garden! This is probably the best investment I've made for my garden, and my plants are getting more consistent and efficient watering now. I highly recommend this to anyone with a small garden or a container garden, especially if you use grow bags.

Habe das Bewässerungssystem in Kombination mit einm 50 L Fass auf meinem Westbalkon (ab 13.00 Uhr bis Sonnenuntergang Sonne!!!) installiert und auf 2 Bewässerungseinheiten täglich (alle 12 Stunden 10 Minuten) eingestellt. Seither muss ich mich um nichts mehr kümmern, außer ungefähr alle zwei Wochen das Fass neu zu befüllen. Zu Beginn der Instalation habe ich die Pflanzen gut gewässert und seither nicht einmal gegossen. Die Lösung mit dem Fass (habe in den Deckel zwei Löcher für die Schläuche gebohrt) hat den Vorteil, dass das Wasser nicht verdunstet, kein Schmutz rein kommt und vor allem keine Mücken ihre Eier darin ablegen können. Inzwischen war ich 14 Tage verreist, habe vorher dass Fass voll befüllt und es hätte noch gut 3- 4 Tage weiter gereicht. Das System ist einfach zu installieren und arbeitet dank Solarmodul autark, einmal montiert und eingestellt muss lediglich die Wasserversorgung sicher gestellt sein.

Dopo anni di tentativi con i "metodi della nonna" – bottiglia con tappo forato, filo di spago bagnato, spugna nell'acqua... tutte cose che su internet consigliano sempre per chi va via pochi giorni – devo dire che ERO STUFA. Ogni volta tornavo e trovavo i miei pomodori sul balcone più secchi del Sahara, oppure allagati, o con le radici marcite. Roba da piangere. Poi ho preso questo kit e finalmente ho risolto! 😍 Il tubo è unico e lunghissimo, e la cosa bella è che lo tagli a piacere in base alle tue esigenze. Puoi creare una struttura lunga con pochi gocciolatori per poche piante distanziate, oppure una struttura più corta con tanti attacchi ravvicinati per vasi vicini. C'è materiale a sufficienza per qualsiasi combinazione, quindi ti adatti alla forma del tuo balcone senza problemi. L'installazione è semplice, basta seguire le istruzioni. Il bello è che è solare, quindi niente prese elettriche – e io sul balcone non ce l'ho. Si ricarica da solo e funziona senza pensarci. L'ho provato prima di una gita fuori porta di qualche giorno: ho impostato frequenza e durata, e via. Quando sono tornata? Pomodori perfetti, rigogliosi, felici come se non fossi mai andata via. Per un uso domestico come il mio, su un balcone normale, è più che perfetto. Anzi, devo dire che è talmente comodo che penso di usarlo anche quando non sono in vacanza! Per chi come me è un po' sbadato e dimentica di annaffiare, o per chi ha orari di lavoro particolari e non è sempre a casa, è una manna dal cielo. Imposti e lui pensa a tutto. Prezzo onestissimo per quello che offre. Nelle foto ho aggiunto le varie modalità di erogazione con i timer, così vi fate un'idea. Lo consiglio a tutti quelli che come me avevano perso la speranza! 🍅

Este kit de riego solar por goteo ha sido una compra fantástica y justo lo que necesitaba. Lo compré pensando en esos días en los que tengo que estar fuera de casa y me preocupaba que las plantas se quedaran sin agua. Después de probarlo, puedo decir que ha cumplido perfectamente con su función y ahora puedo marcharme con mucha más tranquilidad. La instalación es bastante sencilla y viene con todo lo necesario para montar el sistema de riego sin complicaciones. Los 15 goteros permiten repartir el agua entre varias macetas o jardineras, y es muy fácil ajustar la distribución según las necesidades de cada planta. Lo que más me ha gustado es que funciona con energía solar, por lo que no necesita estar conectado a la corriente eléctrica. Esto permite colocarlo prácticamente en cualquier lugar, ya sea en el jardín, la terraza, el balcón o incluso en un pequeño invernadero. Además, al aprovechar la energía del sol, también supone un ahorro de electricidad y resulta una opción mucho más ecológica. El temporizador automático es otro de sus puntos fuertes. Puedes programar el riego y olvidarte por completo, sabiendo que las plantas recibirán agua de forma regular mientras estás fuera. En mi caso lo utilicé durante unos días de ausencia y, al volver, encontré todas las plantas perfectamente cuidadas y con la tierra en buenas condiciones, algo que me dio muchísima tranquilidad. También me ha gustado que el sistema realiza un riego por goteo, aprovechando mucho mejor el agua y evitando desperdicios. El caudal es constante y permite mantener la humedad necesaria sin encharcar las macetas, algo muy importante para muchas plantas. Los materiales transmiten una buena sensación de calidad y todo el conjunto parece resistente para soportar el uso en exteriores. Una vez instalado, apenas requiere mantenimiento y funciona de manera muy cómoda. En definitiva, es un producto muy práctico para cualquiera que tenga plantas y quiera olvidarse de la preocupación de regarlas cuando está fuera de casa. Si viajas con frecuencia, te vas de vacaciones o simplemente quieres automatizar el riego de tu jardín o terraza, este kit es una solución muy eficaz y con una excelente relación calidad-precio. Sin duda, volvería a comprarlo.
