A good floor fan and a great budget option for DIY air purification
I recall owning this brand and model of floor fan back in college, where it proved itself extremely powerful and quiet. I was recently in search of a fan for use in a DIY Corsi-Rosenthal Box air purifier, and I was excited to see it available here. So far, it's performing admirably. This fan has three speed settings. It's rated to move 1200 CFM on its lowest setting, which is perfect for a 4-filter Corsi Rosenthal Box with 20x25x1" 3M MERV-14 filters; and my own testing via an Android noise meter app shows that the fan produces a mere 42-45 decibels on that setting. You can certainly hear it, but it's not loud (especially compared to a typical box fan). It would effectively serve as a gentle white noise machine at night. This is not a battery fan, and its 6-foot cord length is a little bit restrictive, but for this price point it gets the job done. $50 seems like a fair price for this fan, though I was able to get it on sale for $32--at that price, it's a steal. Recommended.

A compact fan with great airflow, and a great price.
This fan was the perfect size for my area. I sit about 6 feet away from the fan with it elevated and aimed at my upper torso. Battery Life: This fan works perfectly with my ALLWEI 300W Portable Power Station, on a full charge, it will have 6 hours of use, which is great for camping in area's where you do not have power hook ups. Power: it has plenty of airflow on the lowest setting for me. The additional power you get at the medium or high settings will blow the papers off your desk at 6 feet away.

Solid Fan
I'm one of those people always tries to figure out ways to fix things that may not incorporate going with original item replacements...this was the case for this fan. My wood burning stove blower fan went out - a new one is near $500 - why?? Specialty Item can be my only guess. In walks this all metal Tornado 12". I removed the old fan from the rear of the stove and was able to mount this fan up against the rear of the stove where combined with some FireProof tape and some thin metal sheeting I am able to get far better performance than even the old fan....only downside is there is no thermostat control. :) Total Win in my book though. To this fan in particular, it does indeed move a good amount of volume for it's size and is adjustable tilt-wise as well. Due to the air flow it generates there is indeed that typical fan buzz/whir but nothing out of the ordinary for a fan of this type. Seems of good construction and I hope to enjoy it's use for years to come - if it fails before a reasonable time I will update this review but otherwise it seems a nice solid option.

High quality, great airflow, reasonable noise.
Now that summer is over, thought I’d weigh in on this. Without air conditioning, there are a few weeks where the heat gets fairly uncomfortable each summer. This fan moves quite a large volume of air, even at the low setting, and is much higher quality than the cheapo box fans which tend to wear out pretty quickly. I find the noise to be acceptable for a fan this size and it does a good job of both pushing the hot air out the upstairs window, and sucking cool air in a downstairs window depending on the situation. It’s pretty big and would be overkill for a bedroom fan. However, on a 90 degree day, it makes the front hallway a windtunnel and I’m very happy with it. Solid construction.

Small but mighty!
Very powerful for a small fan. I like to stay cool and feel a breeze, and I can feel a gentle breeze over 12 feet across the room on high speed. And on high speed it isn't too loud, but loud enough to take the place of a sound machine.

Lots of air movement
Love this fan. It pushes some serious air! Some light assembly, had it up and running in less than 10 minutes. Very happy with it. Will likely get another in the future.

Essential For Garages!
Works great in my garage! Will be useful for the hurricane season too! The fan is a bit louder than advertised but does what I needed it to.

Blows lots of air.
I remeber one guys video where this fan did not blow air in the center. How stupid. Of course there is not much air flow in the center where the blades are very small. Five feet awayI can't light a pipe. Too windy. Blows great, of course its alittle noisy but not bad. One major problem is this fan was shipped from Auburndale, Fl to katy, TX where I live, then katy TX Amazon didtribution center gave it to the USPS who took it 30 miles to another post office, they gave it to another one North Houston where it sat for two days then 5 days after ordering and in 100 degree heat for those five days it arrives.
