These are quality bags, heavy duty, much stronger than a standard vacuum sealer bag, the only thing I would change is I wish they would put a notch on both edge so you could have a tear top on the bottom and the top instead of just the bottom

I have an Anova Chamber Vacuum sealer. The documents are contradictory - they say you CAN use other bags, and you CAN'T use bags smaller than the ones that they sell. The Avid Armor bags work well. They're smaller than the ones that Anova sells and because they're smaller, they're considerably less expensive. I find that these are useful for most sealing tasks. In fact, I've even been able to seal small things, use a portion up, and reseal the top of the bag. There are times when it appears that air leaks back into the bag - I'm not sure why this happens - perhaps an incomplete seal or operator error. The problem is intermittent and may just be user error. Note: these bags are ONLY for chamber sealers - they don't work with the more common 'edge' sealers. This size is good for most of the sealing that I want to do. I'm happy with the purchase and will buy more when I eventually run low.

In this period of inflation, I was tempted to find a lower cost competitor but the difference in price was barely noticeable and I was at a disadvantage not having experience with another brand. I have been a loyal customer of Avid Armor because their products do what they are designed to do and the company stands by their product guarantee. So if this product is $2 or $3 more than an off-brand or generic competitor, I will gladly pay the difference resting in the sure knowledge that I am receiving the absolute best quality product that is DESIGNED for Avid Armor products. I cannot speak for customers that are looking for vacuum bags for a chamber vacuum sealer other than an Avid Armor product. Perhaps these bags will work exceedingly well with a chamber vacuum sealer of a different brand. But as an owner of an Avid Armor chamber vacuum sealer, I can attest to the overall quality. They stand the test of time. I frequently reheat sealed food in a simmering pot of water, but I will occasionally reheat in a microwave up to a point (3 minutes maximum). Your best bet is to use moist heat, such as a pot of boiling water or sous vide to reheat contents in the bag. A microwave may cause damage to the plastic, or the food may begin to steam and cause the bag to expand and cause alarm. And honestly.... any vacuum bag will do the same regardless of brand. As long as I own an Avid Armor chamber vacuum sealer, I will continue to order Avid Armor brand vacuum bags. Their guarantee ensures your satisfaction.

Good bag for chamber vacuum systems. You just have to get the vacuum time, heating time, and the cooling time dialed in.

Avid Armor are the only vacuum sealer bags that I purchase for our chamber vac sealer. I don’t even have to wonder if the bag is going to seal correctly as I’ve been using Avid Armor for many years without any fails. I used generic rolls of bags previously and experienced numerous fails but NONE with the Avid Armor bags. If you want less worry about what you’ve packaged, BUY THESE!

I have no complaints with these vacuum bags. They work great for larger items and bulk storage. Of course, the size is relative to your machine, but for my smaller chamber vacuum, they fit perfectly. What I really like about the larger bags is that you can easily seal them down into smaller bags. My unit generates a double seal, which means you can slice right down the middle of the two seals to get two medium bags out of one big bag. It's important to note that these bags WON'T work with basic FoodSaver-style units because they lack the little dimples that allow air to flow through. However, that’s what makes these bags so effective—there's no doubt that they remove all the air when using dedicated chamber vacuum bags. For anyone curious about the inner dimensions, the border is 1 cm, giving you a practical opening of about 7.25 inches wide. I also noticed a convenient tear notch on the ends, which is a nice touch! Overall, I've been pleased with these vacuum bags. They are sturdy, reliable, and do exactly what I need them to do for my vacuum sealing needs. If you're using a chamber vacuum, these are definitely worth considering for your storage solutions.

The bag seals easily in the Avid Armor chamber sealer and is perfect for freezing single portions or sealing smaller portions of food for sous vide cooking purposes. Would recommend.
