Great Quality Organic Product that's Super Cute!
We purchased this as a gift for one of our family members who is expecting, and it is super cute and soft! It's perfect for a baby.We love purchasing from this company as we can be confident the products are truly organic, and consist of quality material without posing any risk to your little ones who will be putting them in their mouths. Most other non-organic stuffed animals are made with harmful color dyes, and plastic pellets (stuffing) inside; think about the impact all of those chemicals may have on your little one if ingested. Children's toys are filled with toxins and flame retardants, and this is why we choose to purchase from companies such as Under the Nile.

A giraffe with stripes?
This little giraffe is well made, very cute and arrived as it was described. It is all natural and appropriate for a newborn. I was including it with a quilt I had made for my niece's first child. The fabric had jungle animals on it with many giraffes. I incorporated a pocket on the quilt for the giraffe. My only reason for giving it 4 stars is that giraffe's don't have stripes. It would have been perfect if it had been made with the appropriate pattern of a giraffe, even if the color could not have been added because of it's all natural components.

This is a nice toy. Soft
This is a nice toy. Soft, cute. BUT it's not an *amazing* toy the way some of the other reviews will have you believe. I do feel better when my daughter decides to chew on this rather than something else.

Adorable, goofy giraffe!
I ordered this giraffe for my almost one year old for Christmas and he really likes it. When it arrived I was initially a little surprised by how goofy he looked! His neck is a little long (he is a giraffe) and his ears were a little cockeyed, but the Under the Nile goods are handmade so slight variations are to be expected. I looked him over for a minute then showed him to my husband and asked him if he thought he was goofy looking. He said, "Yes, but that's what makes him cute." So we agreed to keep him. His goofiness turned out to be his most endearing quality. That and the fact that he's organic, washes and dries great (so far) and is made of very soft flannel. Overall, a very cute little friend for our little guy. We also have the monkey and three of the "Baby Buddies" that Under the Nile makes. We love them all!

I feel good about my daughter chewing on it
This is the right size for little hands, and because it’s organic, I feel good about my daughter chewing on it. Three stars only because the lack of colors and tiny facial features make it much less attractive to our daughter. She doesn’t study or play with it the way she does her other toys. So far, a few months in, it still mainly goes in her mouth.

For little non destructive fur babies too!
I know this is for a child, however; I actually got this for my little Maltipoo. She has bad allergies to almost everything and I wanted her to have a cuddle buddy. This is perfect and she adores it!

Cute, safe toy!
My baby loves this cute giraffe. I feel comfortable leaving this in her crib now that she's older and this animal has no buttons that can come off. My baby likes to chew on the giraffe, so I like knowing this is made of organic cotton as opposed to chemical filled polyester (aka: plastic) that most other stuffed animals are made out of.
