Good desktop and really like the various tops - I got the old distress wood top. Work well, solid, and support two monitors, running two machines (work and home) with switch cables, and room for paper to write on, but not so big it takes over the room. Should have got this when the pandemic started, but I have it now.

I purchased this table top to replace a 2-piece half inch top that came with my lifting table. This top is much more thicker and sturdy. Besides this is a piece and 1” thick. Looks much prettier, professional and solid than the one that came with my table base.Highly recommend.

I have a computer monitor on an arm so I needed a SOLID top -- my last one was from Ikea -- easy to move because it was lightweight, but it had a honeycomb structure that gave way under the clamp for the monitor arm. I am still going to use additional support, but I don't really think it is necessary -- this top is SOLID.It is supported on one end by a set of drawers and on the other by legs that I screwed in -- yes, pre-drill about 1/4-3/8" deep if you need new screw holes.Also heavy, and worth every ounce. I bought the grey wood pattern and it was nicer than I expected -- though it will be mostly covered by my work....

I’m so glad I ordered the Walnut color. The photos in the listing show a lot of yellow highlights which aren’t really visible in real life. It’s a beautiful walnut. Photos shown are with a Grovemade desk shelf.
