Bought to sort a few tools in a first aid kit. Strong enough they hold tight on a hard drop, but not so strong I'd end up sliding the scissors to pry them off.

Very small magnets so make sure to understand how small they are. GREAT magnet strength! Better than larger magnets with adhesive backing.

They work really well. I lost my grip on one and it snapped when it slammed into the others. Be careful.

Weak as hell. Instead of helping a rotating cabinet door stay closed, it prevented it. This is after checking and rechecking which magnets were definitely highly attracted to each other, and that these correct sides always matched. Thank goodness the adhesive is unreliable: into the trash!

These magnets pack a nice punch in terms of their strength. However, you have to be really careful once you separate them not to let them slam back together. They are fragile and will break very easily.

Perfect, I used them to keep my mailbox closed.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Excellent. One set of these is holding a very heavy solid wood door with heavy glass inserts closed against the frame. It's an interior door that without a lot of work will not stay shut as nothing in this house is level. These did that for me in one minute, and yes the door opens easily, but stays shut when I close it. I used a second set on another interior door with the same issue and boom, done in one minute. My only criticism and it's a very minor one is the glue strips do not want to hold half the magnet, so it pulls away from the door frame with the enclosed strips, so I just used better strips.
