Salvation for Annual Allergy Sufferers and “Iffy” Nighttime Breathers
I’ll admit—these little nasal attachments seemed questionable when I first got a look at them, but if allergies and narrow nostrils conspire to keep you less than fully oxygenated at night, you’ll be sticking magnets up your nose faster than you can say, “Sleep APNEA!” I find the strips unobtrusive, easy to use, easy to sleep-with, and much more effective than any other nasal strip I have tried in the past and I have tried them ALL. On a side note, if you are an athlete or frequent the gym and want an edge to optimize your oxygen intake, these are outstanding. Of course, everyone’s comfort level differs, but if you have found relief by using nasal strips in the past, you can really up-your-breathing-game by giving these a try. Great idea and, in my experience, a great product.

Better than BreatheRight, Works Over Nightly Skincare Too
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I'm an overweight woman in my late thirties and--well, I snore. I go to bed first at night, so I was keeping my husband awake. I didn't know for months--and I love him for trying to be so polite about it at first--but I was determined to find a solution that would work out a little quicker than a few months of getting back into the gym. BreatheRight strips! They were... challenging. Where I lack dedication for fitness, I'm an avid follower of a nightly skincare routine--and that means a lot of moisture on my face. Including my nose. Know what you can't do when you're using BreatheRight strips? Have any moisture on your nose. Those strips will slide right off, even the Extra Strength ones. And they left some pretty gross residue. I really hated them, even though they had some lavender ones that smelled nice. I was really skeptical about Intake, like most things I see first on Facebook ads. Amazon is a great safety net for returns though, so for $40 I bought it. Watched the little video in the QR code that explains how you pick the right size band for your nose, and how to attach the nasal strips to your face. I was a little bummed when the directions explained that you should make sure your nose is pretty dry--so I dutifully followed my BreatheRight routine of making my nose a desert of moisture before applying the strips and the band. And they worked! My husband said he didn't hear my snoring for the next few nights. But I was still back where I started. Sure, Intake got the job done like BreatheRight strips on a parched nose, but they're also more expensive despite less gross residue. BreatheRight strips are about $0.37 vs Intake's $1.05 per night. There wasn't really a point to spending almost 3x more over the residue since I shower right after taking them off anyway... unless I could wear them over my skincare. So I tried--after cleansing, toning, a serum, and a generous night cream, I put it all on. And the Intake strips and band stayed perfectly in place over my stupid oily nose. Instant joy. I had to ask my husband a few times over the next few nights if I snored--maybe Intake was less effective with the skincare under it? But no, no noise. And everything was firmly in place in the morning. Awesome. Intake is going to cost me $1.05 a night--or $31.50 per month. That might be a hefty price tag, but it's one I can afford. Amazon Prime Days are coming up, so fingers crossed for a sale. It's worth it for my husband's comfort--and mine.

Sometimes GREAT, Sometimes a Little Helpful, and Sometimes a Total Waste
I received the Intake Breathing Magnetic Nasal Strips Starter Kit about 10 days ago and have been using them most days since. Bottom line, when you get them just right. . .they work really well to open up the nasal passage. I seem to be able to sleep for longer periods of time at night when wearing them. I don't know if they have affected my snoring but they definitely help me breathe through my nose. The reason for only 4 stars, is that getting them on in the correct place and keeping them on is a SIGNIFICANT challenge for me. Just getting the non-adhesive backing off each adhesive magnet seems way more difficult than it should be. There is no pull tab or area to "peel here" that is designed to avoid potential skin contact with the adhesive. Contact with skin on the adhesive prior to putting them on the nose can cause them to fold over on themselves or reduce their potential "stickiness". When they say to thoroughly wash the area where the adhesive magnets are to go with soap and water, they aren't exaggerating. If I don't, the adhesive seems to fail shortly after application. If I scrunch up my nose while wearing the nasal strip, that sometimes loosens the adhesive. The adhesive often comes off while I sleep. BUT, I want to stress, when I get the placement right (or at least close) and the adhesive holds. . .they work AMAZINGLY for me. I'm hoping it will just take more practice to figure out what soap/alcohol wipes work best to prepare the nose for adhesion, be able to effectively remove them from the adhesive backing without compromising the adhesive, identify exactly where they should be placed, and consistently place them in the correct location for my nose. It's helpful that the starter kit comes with four different sized bands. I'm still trying to figure out which one(s) work best for me. In my case, I don't think my nose/inner nostrils are symmetrical which leads me to place the magnets in slightly different places for each nostril for full effect. . .but that can make it difficult for the band/adhesive to hold. It kind of seems like I can usually get much better intake in one nostril but not so much both at the same time. The plastic bands work okay with my glasses. Sometimes the glasses rub against the band and it's a minor annoyance (not sure if that loosens the adhesive). There's also the price for refill adhesive magnets. They're not cheap. I've also had to throw some away shortly after initial application as I placed them in the wrong location or the adhesive didn't stick. That's a waste, as it throwing them out after one use (even if successful).

Great, but DROPSHIPPED product.
I found out about intake through an instagram ad and thought it looked fantastic so I purchased it just to try it out. 20 dollars seemed reasonable, and I would say even for that price, this thing is pretty worth it. In terms of the product itself, it does everything it claims to do, it opens up my airway fantastically. The quality is great, the plastic is not cheap feeling, the magnetic applicator is actually very handy, makes it easy to apply, and it includes sizing for almost any nose size. The stickers themselves work great, and so long as you clean your nose beforehand, they won’t start to come off until you wear them longer than 24hrs. If I was rating based on the product itself, I’d give a perfect review. I like to wear mine before bed, which drastically improves my sleep quality. I’ve also worn it to the gym a few times which was amazing, but I’m not brave enough to show up with it on every day lol. Any situation where you need to open up your airways works great with this. Sometimes if I’m gonna be working from home, I’ll just stick it on the morning and leave it on all day! Positives aside, when I ran out of the adhesive magnets, I went and checked the price of the refills. Intake wants to charge $30 for 30 stickers. I don’t know how you can justify charging a dollar for a bandaid with a tiny magnet in it. Mind you, without those, the product is completely unusable. Since I didn’t want to pay the equivalent of 2 Prime memberships every month to continue using my nose strip, I went online to do some research to see if maybe there was a DIY solution or way to reuse the stickers… Turns out, I discovered THIS EXACT PRODUCT is on aliexpress, sold by the actual manufacturer for $2 dollars (for the same starter pack kit). Not a knockoff version, the exact same product. I have both kits now and besides packaging, the two products are literally indistinguishable. Same logo, same materials, same sizing, even the swirling pattern on the magnetic applicator is the same. Not only that, but the refill sticker packs cost $7 for 100 count… basically, intake is selling you a product that they didn't actually invent, don’t actually make, putting their own branding and charging you 10x markup for the kit and 15x markup for refills. So while I absolutely love the product, I can’t help but feeling like I’ve been duped into participating in someone’s get rich quick scheme by buying from Intake. I honestly wouldn’t even fault them if they sold it for a less ridiculous markup, since at least you have the convenience of avoiding international shipping and having prime overnight. But in my mind, selling a $0.07 sticker for 1 dollar is totally unjustified. Rating 3 stars, because despite the drop shipping scam, the product itself is perfect. If it weren’t for intake’s shady business model, I would have rated 5 stars.

Must Try
I was always skeptical about this product considering how much it costs compared to a pack of Breathe Right strips but I finally decided to pull the trigger and try it out. To provide some context, I have a deviated septum that makes it nearly impossible to breathe through my left nostril and this is what I've found after using it: 1. The magnetic band + magnetic nasal strips function are much stronger than Breathe Right strips and do a significantly better job at expanding the nasal valve area for more breathability 2. You're paying more for better quality, and that includes the cost of the magnetic nasal strips. 3. The best magnetic band size for max breathability are a factor of your nose size and the widest band size that will stay on your face without falling off. Too small and you won't get much benefit, too big and the band won't stay snug on your nose. 4. Customer service and their "guaranteed fit" claim is A+. The starter kit comes with a variety of sizes up to L1, but I needed the largest L2 size which they were kind enough to send after reaching out with my issue. 5. Depending on how severe your nose issue is, it may not be able to help you 100%, but it will help immensely. 6. It's comfortable and stays on all night/day. Needless to say, it brings the breathability of my left nostril from practically 0% to about 70%. Which is significantly better than anything I've tried up until now. I just purchased another months supply worth of the nasal strips while I wait for my upcoming nose procedure to hopefully provide permanent relief.

Excellent for past broken nose
I have a nose with tweaked nasal/nostril passages due to a fight in high school years ago; I also have over-active mucous glands. As a result, I never sleep through the night well and snore like a hibernating grizzly bear. I have tried everything under the sun except surgery: various strips, herbs/teas, flushes, mists/sprays, diff sleeping positions, etc. and nothings worked consistently until I tried these. They work very well; I get 2-3 days out of the adhesive magnets. I am sleeping better than I have since I was a kid and my wife says I barely snore at all anymore. I honestly had no idea how bad my sleep was until I started using these—it’s like my body forgot what a restful night’s sleep was but now I wake up fully rested and ready for the day with excellent energy that lasts and no mid-afternoon crashes. Oh-also I sleep longer; before using these I’d consistently wake up around 4a; now I sleep in until 6a which is a huge improvement for me. I highly recommend.

Game-Changer for Breathing and Sleep (Way Better Than Standard Strips)
I didn’t expect to like this as much as I do, but this has honestly been a game-changer. I’ve tried the standard nasal strips before and they’re fine, but this magnetic system is on a completely different level. The clear version is nice because it’s barely noticeable, and once it’s on, it stays put. The magnets give a stronger, more consistent lift than regular strips without feeling uncomfortable. Biggest difference for me is at night—I’m breathing easier, sleeping better, and waking up without that dry, congested feeling. I’ve also used it during workouts, and it noticeably helps airflow. It took me one or two tries to get the placement just right, but after that it’s easy. Not the cheapest option compared to traditional strips, but in my opinion, it’s 100% worth it for the performance. I’ll keep using these.

Not a miracle product but worth a try.
I have had sinus problems my entire life. 2 sinus surgeries, 2 turbinate reductions, many, many, many boxes of breathe rights strips. Side note, the best thing I did for my sinuses was to give up dairy many years ago, but it just wasn't enough to breathe at night. I wore breathe right strips for decades. They helped some but never solved the problem. The minute I lay supine, one side (sometimes both sides) of my nose will clog up. I never feel well rested as a result. I was desperate so I thought I would try Intake after my doctor suggested it. If you are looking for a miracle, these aren't it. However they do work substantially better than Breathe Right (BR), and you don't destroy your nose with Afrin. Pros: They adhere much better than BR and stay put all night. (They still require you to clean your nose with alcohol before application.) The pads are softer and thinner than breathe right, so they are much more comfortable. The band is harder than BR and does open my nostrils more allowing more airflow. Cons: The pads are expensive at double the cost of the breathe right. They are difficult to get positioned correctly. That is probably the most frustrating part. These will not be the miracle product for many people who struggle with sinus problems. They certainly were not for me, but they do work much better than BR and are definitely worth the cost. It took me a week to get them in the right place for me. My nose is very thin and I feel like they work better if placed slightly above where they suggest. So I would try different locations if just above the nostril doesn't work for you. I bought the starter pack at $59 and would recommend that you try them at that price point and see if they work for you. Although they were not a miracle cure for my breathing issues when I sleep, I would recommend them. They do provide relief, and that is huge when you don't sleep well because you cannot breathe. They are definitely worth the cost and time it takes to get them adjusted properly. I will continue to use them.

Stickers do not stick
Been using Noctal nasal strips for a long time. Decided to try these magnetic ones for the first time. They do not work. Stickers don't stick.

Muito ruim. Enganação. É muito difícil pregar os adesivos corretamente e de forma alinhada. Eu testei todos os tamanhos. Durante a noite o aparelho ficava caindo do meu nariz toda hora. Minha esposa disse que nas noites que usei continuei roncando. Sinceramente, não adiantou de nada, queria meu dinheiro de volta. Um dilatador barato de farmácia que usei meses atrás trouxe resultados muito melhores do que esse.
