This magnifier is great. I use it when I am cleaning my hearing aids. It is easier to see what I am doing because they are so small. Having the adjustable lighting is a plus. I also love the stand because it keeps my hands free when using it.

The build quality is actually nice. It has two hinges and both hinges don't have any play, there are some solid detents. Once in a detent position it's solid, no play, not loose. The magnification isn't high, the 30X claim is false and refers only to the smaller loupe in the middle of it. The big magnifier is not 30X. I knew that when purchasing this but still 1 star off for misleading product description. The smaller loupe is perfectly fine for up close inspection, but the FOV is not as big as something professional. There's a set of measurement ruler at the bottom that can be placed over whatever you are looking at, but the distortion of the magnifier makes it never straight. It's readable, but it just won't appear straight. For me it really only works with the light on, I find that in indoor lighting without the light, the image is soft. You need the light to make your pupil contract, which makes the image sharper. (I do need glasses) On the brightest setting it consumes over 10W of electricity. Batteries probably won't last long. There is an included USB cable but it's a barrel jack at the end so don't lose it, you won't have a replacement. This particular item is pricy but I really wanted a storage case and I'm hoping it resulted in a bit more quality.

I needed something to magnify serial numbers on firearms at work. My eyes aren't what they used to be and the lighting is not sufficient. This is perfect! The LED lights are plenty bright enough to illuminate small numbers in obscure places. Part of the handle can be folded out to form a stand, which allows you to use both hands, if needed. It also comes with a nice carrying case. Very happy with this purchase!

I wanted to love this magnifier, and it’s really nice in a lot of ways. The lens is plastic, but lightweight and extremely clear, and large enough to be useful. The magnification level is sufficient for me (I don’t need the tiny bubble that has extra magnifying power- not sure how useful that would be since it’s very small). The lights are very bright and you have a choice between warm color, cool color, or both together. I had anticipated that I would only use batteries and not the USB cable, but the 3 batteries I put in were practically dead the next day, and I had only turned it on a few times. I then started using the cable, and it’s nice you don’t have to worry about replacing the batteries, but depending on what you’re doing, being tethered to a power outlet might be a hindrance. I bought this to do jigsaw puzzles. I started a few years ago using a plain magnifying glass, but it was small (2-3 inches) and I eventually realized I needed a bigger magnifier with a light. Here’s my biggest issue with this product: there are too many options with the lights. The first press turns on the cool color lights, the second press turns on the warm lights, the third press turns on both; in all cases the lights completely surround the lens, which is nice. The fourth press turns off the lights and turns one light on next to the bubble with the extra magnification, the fifth press turns it off. So… If I want both the warm and cool lights I have to press-press-press, then use it for a few seconds, then press-press. And repeat over and over. I would never have anticipated that having to keep pressing the button so many times would be so annoying! I just want to be able to press it to turn on, then press again to turn off. I personally don’t care about having cool and warm options, I just want a strong light. Depending on how you use this, it may not bother you, but it’s something to consider. I’m definitely going to keep using it but will probably keep my eye out for another one.

After an initial problem with the product, and after reaching out to Amazon, issue resolved. The magnifying glass works as advertised and Amazon fixed the issue in one day.

This is a handy item that is worth its weight if you need a good magnifier. The light is bright and it can stand on its own so you don't have to hold it to preform some tasks. For sure a good buy.

Die Lupe ist wirklich gut. Endlich hat man beide Hände frei. Gute Beleuchtung man kann auch gut kleine Dinge erkennen.

Si presenta molto bene la confezione è ben fatta e solida al suo interno trovi una lente ben fatta completa di luce led, uno straccio per la pulizia e il cavo di alimentazione. Funziona sia con le batterie (non incluse) che con il cavo in dotazione, ottima la visuale di ingrandimento.
